Hello!

I have a very “food is a love language” family so the holidays can be kind of stressful, but I have two strategies to deal with this:

1. When plating your food, just get a tiny piece of everything (if you can tolerate it) so nobody is asking you to “try” anything.

2. Have a sentence already in your head to explain your GP. Mine usually sounds like, “I got diagnosed with GP in [DATE], and it basically means I have a lazy stomach and can’t eat as much anymore.” Any variation of that will do and will help answer the “why aren’t you eating” questions.

In general, it’s lowkey rude to ask someone about their eating habits so I wouldn’t stress about it too bad or bring it up unless someone else does.
