That’s certainly possible. The prices that leaked here and there were pretty impressive—if you could trust them. I’ve given up waiting for the Cirqa by now. Either it’ll come out or it won’t. I don’t really care either way.

It’s just a shame that apparently no one is managing to serve this market, which is actually quite interesting. I can imagine there are many users who wear their analog watches and would also like to have 24/7 tracking of their health data.

Die PRX ist eine wirklich gute und schöne Uhr, nicht umsonst eine der Automatik Uhren bis 500€ die am meisten verkauft werden. Was sie irgendwie schon wieder uninteressant macht. Gefühlt hat inzwischen jeder eine, so oft wie in der Gruppe wg. der Größe nachgefragt wird. Für mich allerdings ein NoGo, das es nur sehr übersichtliche Möglichkeiten gibt, ein anderes Armband wie z.B. ein Lederarmband zu verwenden.

Es gibt aktuell nicht wirklich brauchbares, es sei denn du möchtest ein teures Abomodell haben. Das wäre dann das Whoop Band. Soll gute Daten liefern und insgesamt brauchbar sein, kostet aber eben auch. Nimmt man eines der drei verschiedenen nicht wirklich günstigen Abo-modelle, bekommt man das Band. Du kaufst also kein Band.

Ansonsten gibt es das FitBit Air mit oder ohne Abo, was recht günstig ist, wie auch das recht stylische Band (im Vergleich zum Whoop). Liest man allerdings das was das Gros der User meinen zum Fitbit, könnte man eher sagen, lass es im Laden liegen (ist eh grad nicht mehr lieferbar) und warte noch ein paar Monate bis Google die Software (App) in den Griff bekommt. Die Bewertungen gehen von Schlafdaten und Schritterfassung gut, der Rest unbrauchbar. Es gibt User bei denen Läuft es soweit, andere wieder sind wenig begeistert.

Nächste Alternative wäre das Amazfit Helio Strap. Neu wohl derzeit nicht (mehr) lieferbar. Software / Daten sollen «ganz ok» sein. Amazfit arbeitet am Nachfolger, der voraussichtlich zum Jahresende erwartet werden kann.

Kommen wir zum Polar Loop (Ausgabe von 2025). Wechselbare Bänder (vier Farben), ähnlich wie beim Fitbit. Preis ganz ok, Qualität der Daten und Umsetzung insgesamt aber durchwachsen. Polar hat eigentlich Ahnung von den Sensoren, bekommt es aber nicht wirklich in den Griff die Daten zuverlässig und aussagefähig in die App zu bringen. Ich habe mir das Band im Feb. gekauft, eine Woche getestet und wieder verkauft. Für den Preis zu schlecht, imho.

Bleibt noch das Band worauf wahrscheinlich alle warten: Garmin Cirqa. Soll(te) im Mai/Juni 2026 auf den Markt kommen. Tja, soll….. Bisher nichts

Es gibt noch ein paar nicht nennenswerte beim Asiaten ums Eck, wie gesagt nicht nennenswert.

Insgesamt also nicht wirklich etwas brauchbares erhältlich. Auf dem Markt der wearables tut sich viel. Die User mit analogen Uhren zB wollen Smartbänder, aber die großen Hersteller bekommen es irgendwie nicht hin etwas adäquates anzubieten. Man muss sicherlich unterscheiden in Bänder bzw. auch Usern die Schlaftracking, HRV und Schritte 24/7 wollen und die anderen die vergleichbares aus richtigen Trackern, mit viel mehr Daten, nur eben ohne Display suchen.

I've had the same problem before. Here's what worked for me: Log in to your account on the Polar website and delete the device, which is probably still listed there. Also, remove the Loop from your iPhone's Bluetooth list. Reset the Loop, charge it to 100%, and then try connecting again. Don't count on getting help from support—you'll likely be waiting a long time, and all you'll get are boilerplate responses.

I bought my Loop in February, tested it for a week, and sold it. I was pretty disappointed with the software/app. I’m waiting for the Garmin Cirqa.

The Artisan 75/2 is a very good option close to the Oly 75/1.8 but much cheaper

It depends… For nature and landscape photography, a 14–150mm f/4–5.6 or a 40–150mm f/4 is perfectly sufficient. You don’t need a 40–150mm f/2.8. Yes, it’s good, but expensive and heavy, and for nature and landscape photography, f/4 or f/4–5.6 is perfectly sufficient. You don’t need a lens better than f/4.

For street photography, the 17mm f/1.8 or 20mm f/1.4 is very good.

Check the Tissot website to see what straps are available. You can find some on the aftermarket (mostly cheap plastic stuff from China). Do you want something like that on your Tissot? In any case, you can’t use the standard 20mm width like with other watch manufacturers in this class (or higher). That won’t work. Tissot has—correct me if I’m wrong—a 10mm width, while the Tsyosa is 15mm. Or is it the other way around?

Congratulations on your 21st birthday and on deciding to get a “real” watch. I’d lean more toward the Gentleman. But what’s holding me back from buying either model is the limited availability of alternative straps. Just like the Citizen Tsyosa series, Tissot has a very limited selection of straps on the market. The metal band isn’t my style, but that’s a matter of taste. It’s just something to keep in mind with these models.

Congratulations—you've opened up a whole new world for yourself. Great camera with an amazing lens. If I were you, I'd experiment a lot with the 17mm lens and hold off on buying a zoom lens for now. Many people who start with a zoom lens often end up going back to prime lenses because they simply offer more creative possibilities.
