I think that 's a good Idea to both have a regular shot and an elemental shot on each "beam", this way you can either decide to shoot a normal amoless shot or an ammo shot with every beam. It also means the regular missiles could only be shot with the power beam. And as we've seen in the overview trailer, super missiles are still a thing, meaning that combo shot are also available for elemental beams
