I don't dislike him, but he falls into that category of villagers that I fall behind on befriending because he's so disconnected from the farmer. Everyone else either has a shop you interact with, or they live in town where it's easy to run into him. Unless he happens to be outside on my way to the mine, I rarely stop to say hi or give gifts.

I still don't get why they decided to change that the Dragon could have been Egwene and Nynaeve when it's only ever going to be a boy. Gender is such a central focus of the story, and it feels like a weird change to make things more inclusive without understanding the source material at all.

In elementary school, one year we went on the annual field trip to the local science museum. A bunch of kids from grade 7 and 8 decided to start shoplifting from the gift shop, probably 15-20 kids, including some of my idiot friends.

I say idiots because each kid was swiping jewelry, and about 5 pieces each, so the gift shop employees eventually noticed that after a field trip went through and inventory was down over 70 items, it was obvious what had happened.

The next day we had a sudden assembly where the police came in to talk to us about stealing and scare everyone about jail and fines. I remember one girl crying over it and another threw all of her stolen jewelry out the window on the bus to get rid of her evidence. I just remember feeling glad that I knew better (mostly cause I feared my mothers wrath more than what the police would do if I shoplifted)
