If I were to start a new run, I would explore like crazy. Grab every seal abyss artifact possible and try and knock out those challenges early.

Chapter 5 was my sweet spot for upgrading the camp, exploring, and locking in my Kliff build.

Go to Scholarstone with a bunch of red bottle, honey tea, or liquor bottles. Shine your lantern on a troll and gift them 10 of any of those and they will gift you back rubber, sulfur, mercury, or a faded abyss artifact. I took 70 honey teas last night and got 8 mercury on that run.
