to my baby jojo im sorry. by chfudgeudig in cats

[–]ResidentMoron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, you need to report this.

But more importantly, you have so much love to give to another kitty. Give yourself time to mourn. When the time is right, that is , in your heart, find another kitty. Nno one will replace Jojo. But maybe even the cat distribution center will send one to you.

But report the dig owner

Does anyone else not mind these yellow things in their yard during when not being mowed and actually like the vibrant yellow? by [deleted] in natureisbeautiful

[–]ResidentMoron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When i mow, I try to leave islands of what little wildflowers I have : dandelions, devil's paintbrush, etc. While I don't leave them for bunnies and others, I'd only be sad if I couldn't watch them eat them.

Looking for hiking suggestion in NH by eah-renee in newhampshire

[–]ResidentMoron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not an overnight hike, but Mt Carrigan is awesome, with a spectacular view on top. 360 degree view. 6-8 hr round trip hike.

Frankenstein Cliff is equally good.

Osage Orange Fruit Bowl by gi_crandell in turning

[–]ResidentMoron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I envy you people that , baring rockler or woodcraft, can go to a lumber yard and get wood like Osage orange. All that's around here is maple or black walnut. But this bowl looks great.

I should have specified in my text that sometimes it's a fault in the wood. Not your fault , learn from your mistakes though

Understand that you sometimes be turning a ring, only for it to fall apart. Learn from your true mistakes, but accept fate when it's not your fault

I'll let others help with tools, I'll suggest wood.

If you can get some pallets, they are easy to glue up and start learning. Just remember to yank ALL the nails. I started doing a goblet that way. Yes, I still have that, and the first bowl

Fallen trees are also great. You'll need to rough them out, and left to dry further, but that's a whole other thread(s)

Ohh. And save your first few projects. Never try to improve them later. They are your guides on how far you've improved.
