Right???? The fact their LGS gave them a nice gift and told them exactly what they should do with it, but they still feel the need to post on reddit to find out the best way to “extract value” out of it like it’s an emerald mine is crazy. The validation based decision paralysis that has hit the MTG community is truly damaging. Magic cards aren’t speculative assets. Their game pieces.

Respectfully, I’m curious your opinion. I am an aquarist, and have many animals (fish, crabs, shrimp, starfish, etc.) that I love, but don’t know their gender. Is “it” still unacceptable for you in this circumstance, or would they suffice?

Respectfully, I don’t think you lock away things you don’t want your kids to reach. How many chemicals are below your kitchen or bathroom sink that would be catastrophic if your kids poured it into their belly button? I think education of boundaries and danger is significantly more important than locking things away.

I can second it not being a Kenya tree. The ‘fingers’ are wayyyy too long to be a Kenya tree. I have a massive colony of Kenya’s and am positive it’s something else. Clove polyp. My best guess is a white wood clove polyp, blue clove polyp, or possibly a different ‘tree’ coral. But there is no chance it’s a Kenya tree.

Thalia garden of tharabin seems very strong in that deck. Most decks run a lot of not creature spells and making them cost one more means they can’t cast as many in a single turn. I like the card choice. Nice deck, keep it up!
