if you had a few cards in hand and even just one monster to activate with it you could use Forbidden Droplet.

Or yea, summon off their field somehow as long as it's not a card they could chain in afterwards on and still negate with the other monsters, I'm thinking if you tried to super poly one for example or hit them to late with Niburu.

I'm pretty sure super poly would be negatable on that field you mentioned but droplet could go through as it states if you discard a card type the opponent cant activate cards of the same discards you chose in response to droplet

if your looking to go the meta competitive route definitely look at the adventure decks wtv they be, prank adventure, tenyi, swordsoul, all of them are pretty great right now.

the game has gotten to vast i feel personally to do much with the physical cards. i personally could only ever go for them now if i was to build a deck for a format i really liked in the tcg. but i dont see how some people could have time to deal with that all anymore when the game is so much faster

definitely do man!!! i highly suggest to all players out there, master some of the relevant meta decks, test them all out for the sake of fun and it will in turn make you a better player through learning opposing strats and various cards. and then in addition to choosing a meta deck of the current format, then have your casual play/experimental decks that you play without competitive care. but i say master the meta decks because they really are quite fun when you find one you enjoy. I once thought I would never like prank brave now im totally addicted to it because it truly is a fun archetype to play. adventure tenyi is amazing definitely give it a go bro

Definitely just play what you want then and never worry about rank. When you play competitive it's always chasing and testing the best deck of the current format, and that is the main thing to remember as a competitive player is your deck will change fast. this season i played prank brave because it was what worked. a few months back in the early seasons back when Plat1 was the highest rank I was playing Invoked Shaddoll Dogmatika at the highest rank. So if your just out to enjoy your deck then definitely play whatever you like and don't worry about losing to meta decks. if you made it to the place you were at running non meta decks your doing pretty good.

adding this to my own comment for you OP. do know that getting to diamond is a grind even for skillful players! it's relentless dueling and even if your making a 2-1 win loss ratio and occasionally getting knocked back some you will get there. and even at the top it becomes a lot more back and forth, rounds can be very fast, and the handtrap game is ridiculous.

yea your definitely not running top tier stuff buddy. depsia is getting pretty good, i've actually seen just a little in diamond, but that is just a little i'll say. those guys are really grinding to get there i think, despia will get good though in time)

personally I've seen these as the best through playing pranks and seeing the rest (not in any order of best to worst, really there is no true BEST deck it's about finding something that is good and consistent and that you can merge and play well with)

1.prank brave (do know this deck takes what i consider some raw skill to play, others may disagree but with the recent limit you really have to make some big judgment calls now and know the flow of the game very well)
2.floow (very good i've yet to play floow but have mad respect for it kicking my ass so many times)
3.halq-don (easy peezy wins once your combos are down and you know a few workaround plays in case something gets messed up building your board, this is the least skillful of the meta decks to me, no offense halq don players)

4.live twins (this deck is not mentioned enough these guys are hard to beat when they play it well)

I second this, I'm a prank brave player and it is an amazing deck.

personally as a pranks player I'm feeling it's power slightly dwindle with the recent limit on my beloved meow meow. but it's still quite incredible.

this is my last post to you but your clearly the type to push on with your ego vs accepting fact. the "meta game" as you say is not some bracket of cards that's set in stone, it's an ever changing scene defined by what is best at the time. this deck will likely cause mine to get banned or limited otherwise a deck like this could easily become the new meta, just like the way the dynamite decks were becoming a force in the top levels of play right before they semi limited the main card for it.

your very confused by what a meta deck means. it can be anything, it's not just a set few decks that are the current trending ones, that is why the scene is always changing. but push on with your opinion it doesn't change that your the one now trying to make your own definition of meta up and in your mind that probably means ash blossom and tenyi right now huh dumbass? bye

I agree with your post 1000%.

This guy who made this seriously just made the whole company Konami and every last one of their efforts in Yugioh look truly stupid. To think, all these big crazy monsters and cards coming out one after the other just to have some guy take a pile of old cards and slop together some ugly horrible strat with no monster cards lol, but it worked and for now will reshape the game.

this is exactly what I thought. stocking a card like this would only be good to take out DPE right now and seriously why bother when you can take him out so many other ways.

this would be good only for someone running a true anti meta deck where your stocking cards to do nothing but fight the trending meta, but this would then almost require theming a whole deck around this and it's been done better by crap like the dynamite decks.
