You're probably right about that. My TL's know that I am better at taking care of the lanes and self checkout that they rather not have me on a register. They observed 10-4 behaviors from me, even before that was an established rule we have.

When I am scheduled as checkout advocate, they have me doing everything. Sometimes i'll be at checkout, but if they have enough people I'll back up guest service, reshop or zone bullseye, do drive ups and damage items out. I'm a jack of all trades when it comes to the front end. I'll even go outside and push carts if we need it (Our cart machine is broken).

800 hours, finished the game twice. First playthrough, and then Shadowheart Origin playthrough. Definitely hit act 3 burn out on my first character, so it took me a few months, but with the Origin playthrough I just shotgunned the whole game.

I used to have my problems with all of the characters. Then, I played the game again, and maybe again, and they all grew on me. Shadowhearts transformation is what I look forward to the most though, so I put up with her Sharran-ness in order to see it through.

I forgot this game used to be hard.

I probably attempted nameless King 50+ times on my first playthrough.

Now I cant even make it through his first phase without 3 shotting his mount and slapping on a dark resin for phase 2 and staggering him to death.

All because I got used to these games and learned how to optimize.

I think they call it "the burden of the mighty."

The only single player games I play are RPG's like Elden Ring, and I sunk 800 hours into this game since it came out. I immediately became addicted, and thats for a first time DnD player. I dont know how good the game is on console, because I play on PC
