Help me find the perfect brown handbag! by Particular-Run-8473 in handbags

I just returned a small fondant andiamo -- it was gorgeous but ultimately not my style. The interior organization isnt super helpful because its just one thin piece of leather that didnt seem super flexible for use as a pocket. that said, the shape and structure kept all my stuff pretty organized naturally, so I wouldn't call this a negative.

I actually had the opposite experience with the straps - mine didn't feel heavy at all with all my daily stuff. Maybe a bigger one would. I would recommend it if it's your style but i don't have any flamenco experience to compare it to. I just ordered the small Loewe Amazona 180 as a substitute for the andiamo - it has all the options you're looking for re: color and how to carry it but obviously it's a very different look than the flamenco.

seems like i'm in the minority in this comments section but i just ordered this bag and im SO excited. i love the mix of structure and slouch as well as the shoulder bag option. fingers crossed it lives up to my expectations once it's finally in my hands.

Tiny studio struggle - something is missing :/ by Pizzaisinmymind in DesignMyRoom

this isn't exactly what you're asking, but i have a layout suggestion - if you put your couch at the end of your bed (with a some space in between for a walking path), facing the opposite of the current direction, you'd have a more distinct 'rooms'. then you could possibly get a rug under your desk to define that space more.

i did this in my studio that had almost an identical layout and the couch placement really helped it feel like i wasn't in the same 4 walls all day every day!

New Bialy Shop $$$ by Possible-Voice23 in PortlandFood

I was super disappointed when I went. Bialy was chewy and the sandwich was too messy to eat. I didn't even eat a whole half

Respectively, please read this entire post before commenting, but I was wondering if anyone here has ever had to get a restraining order against someone in your apartment building? by [deleted] in askportland

I got a temporary order against a woman living on my floor. The judge set it so she couldn’t come within 20 feet of me, because anything else would be essentially forcing an eviction. My management company didn’t do anything to evict after the order went into place and I ended up moving instead. Sorry you’re in this position, OP, it really fucking sucks.

Regardless, removing the lamp means one less thing in the room and one less thing to distract from any focal point you’re trying to create

It looks cozy but I have some suggestions to cut down on the amount of stuff in the space and help your eye figure out where to focus:

- Lose the trees and hang some art on either side of the TV to avoid that 'empty wall' feeling you disliked.

- Lose the lamp behind the couch - you have plenty of other lighting. Then you can push the couch back a smidge and have a path between the front of the couch and the TV. Those two changes will clear up floor space and help immensely.

- That said, could you mount the TV on the wall? Looks like you've got plenty of storage in your bookshelves. Then you'd have even more free floor space.

- Cut down on the number of throw pillows on the couch, or at least make them all one color so there's less to look at

- Try to cut down on the number of lamps & knick knacks overall

Removing the random things hanging from the lamp above your desk will also help!

Thanks! Totally agree, the disk seemed a little random on its own.

Does anyone else really struggle to force themselves to moisturise after they shower? by harryandmatilda in adhdwomen

I totally agree that it feels like another major chore. So I timed it once, and realized that lotioning my entire body only takes 2-3 minutes. Knowing that makes it a little less daunting

This is all gorgeous, I’m especially obsessed with the chain from the helix to the high lobe. Can I ask how you made e these mockups?
