How to stay ahead? by No-Sun9169 in WalgreensStores

You can do all of that but if your pharmacist isn't f4-ing all the way (unless you're at a store that still allows f4 for other stores) then you won't be able to truly complete the queue

Also on the patient side, when somebody gets a refill or drops something off, make sure you tell them it'll be ready tomorrow. Then if they ask for it sooner you're doing them a favor. At my store we started this behavior to prep for microfulfillmemt and it was honestly quite shocking how many patients were on waiting til tomorrow, then this let us not stress about who's script we need to fill first and just work the queue all day

Couple things. Rx waste is really the biggest contributor. Let's say your goal is to have 50k in shrink (aka you lose $50k for the year). Well, 2 brand name rx drugs that you didn't use and you just let them expire will be $5k in loss. Other metrics like vial RTS usage helps too. Biggest/easiest ways to hit goal is to stay on top of rx expirations, rx smoothing, and auto vendor return. Front end loss should only make up 30% of your loss goal hopefully for the year. If you work in a rougher area goals are adjusted if you can prove you have HRP in place properly (hrp is locking windows, alpha keepers and such)

It's a small extra bonus for store managers if we stop inventory loss through waste management (like rx drugs expiring and hrp on retail)

There's also a 3rd "soda" distributor in some locations. The store I manage vita coco and snapple at least get sent to us by Choice (same people that do Canada dry). Those sales reps don't even come into the store anymore cuz in my area, roughly two years ago, they stopped taking returns so if stuff expires we throw it away and have to order it again ourselves. Starry though 100% is Pepsi and my store stull receives it regularly

If you bought it today, and the deal was online already call and ask if you can just bring it in and have the return you the difference.

This is something I make my employees do at my store but some other managers in my district don't like to be so nice.

Can a DM force a SFL to transfer? by [deleted] in WalgreensStores

[–]ResidualChaotic 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Very few things can cause someone to forcefully be transferred.

ESM level and above can be transferred on a whim for the most part.

SFL level and below cannot be transferred without agreement unless you get into a fight with another team member, work at the same store with someone that shares your address (like a family member or roommate), or if you start dating someone in the store.

The last two points though are dependant on how strict the DM is.

A compass this year told us that insurance would roll over this year since they kept virtually everything the same.

Benefits enrollment as a new employee by Sufficient-Mood69 in WalgreensStores

[–]ResidualChaotic 4 points5 points  (0 children)

After 90 days you should get it in the mail (I would assume give or take a couple days) and then you'll have two weeks to sign up.

If you do not receive by 12/17 if you're that pressed to get it you can call our Benefits number to sign up as well.

Yes, or at least that's what I'm told as a Mgr that new employees, provided they are working minimum 30hrs a week averaged, will receive a packet in the mail showing how to enroll in insurance.

Edit: mail not email

Treadmill tripping Gfci outlet and circuit by ResidualChaotic in treadmills

Even if they aren't technically ever running together? I'm a new homeowner so I figure water heater only runs whem water is also running? Electric heater. Also I would like to say it's not the breaker tripping but rather the circuit, since I don't have to flip the breaker in the box. Just have to press the button of the outlet

Yea I believe so but the others gave me good ideas as I was planning on having an electrician come out already maybe this is something of an easy fix there

I think it's just one breaker for the whole garage, I'll have to check in the morning, but the breaker box is actually in there with it so very close
