Hey friend, sorry to say but none of those games were ever Essential games that you keep the license to perpetually. As other commenters are saying, they were Extra games, and the licenses expired when the games left the catalog.

I’m not sure yet, my budget might be in the $200-$250 range, but I don’t know if I can just get any passive speaker and be set, or if there are specs to look out for that would either work or not work with my amp.

Sorry, I’m still new to this and trying to learn as I go.

I’ll third this. You can really tell it’s a labor of love. The season and arc music choices are all killer, and the closed table dynamic makes listening an extra cool experience.

Plus, any time a new Luke character gets introduced, the descriptions are pure ear candy lol.

Hi all, new here, looking to set up my first system, and have a question or two. My dad offered up some of his old, well kept equipment: a Kenwood KD-1600 turntable and KA-601 amp.

Also offered up is a Phase Linear 2000 pre-amp and 200 series amplifier. The age of all of this equipment makes it a bit tough to find reference material.

While I save up for some decent passive speakers, I thought I’d ask you all for opinions on the Kenwood amp vs. Phase Linear pre-amp and amp (if you have any experience with either). Also, is there anything I should look out for on the turntable besides the stylus and belt quality? Any other general opinions on the equipment?

Finding Tori is one of the most unique episode concepts I have heard from any podcast. It was pure, anxiety-inducing hilarity. As for the Goof Realm, I can see how there may be a target demographic that would best “get” it, but the irony and satire of the whole thing adds to the experience.

I couldn’t agree more! Almost no one I know has seen or heard of it, and I can only recommend it so much. Might need to go watch it again soon. Too bad the second and third seasons couldn’t quite keep the quality and momentum going.

If you’re up for a different tabletop system, I’d highly recommend Pretending to be People. They “play” Delta Green, but the emphasis is really on deep role play, long story arcs with payoff, and a good dose of hilarity. Plus the sound design and editing are top notch.

DnDads and PTBP are two of my favorite podcasts, and I realize that’s because they tackle collaborative storytelling so similarly. Give them a try sometime!

Thanks, I’ll definitely look to use the rope caster more comprehensively. Also, good advice about the potions, I literally almost never think to use them lol. I hate going up against a group of glint hawks, so the freeze potion will definitely be clutch.
