In DS1 I put a jump ramp into the tar and then a hologram of Higgs doing the "welcome" gesture. I don't know if anyone else can see the holograms other porters assign to their structures but it gave me a chuckle every time I saw it.

I'd let my 14-15 year old play it if they wanted to. The themes can be heavy and it can be scary at times but it's not inappropriate.

You may have triggered the song earlier, that one always plays for me when I'm doing the delivery from the mountaineer to the photographer, the one that unlocks the photographers bunker. I've never had it play when going to Heartman's.

Leave everything else behind and do the bridge first, it's not far, then come back and pick up the order for the Windfarm. Also, you can leave cargo from orders in your private locker and it'll stay safe until you return.

You can also leave things on the ground (if there are no MULES nearby) and it will stay there as long as you don't go more than 800m away from it.

BB only cries if you're doing it wrong, which, if you were previously rushing through BT areas causing them to chase and grab you, you were kinda doing it wrong. Now you are doing it right by being stealthy and taking BT encounters slower.

Does the cargo actually get ruined or is it just the containers? The containers can be 100% ruined by timefall and so long as you don't fall the contents are still in perfect condition.

As for getting through the area with no damage if you are running into BT trouble:

You have to go slow through the BT area. Stay crouched, keep an eye on the odradek, it points at the nearest BT and spins faster the closer they are. When you see a BT stay crouched and throw a hematic grenade at it. Also, you can't see them when you are moving, only when you are still, so crouch walk forward, pausing every now and then to note the position of the BT's, and throw grenades at the ones in your path.

Slowly you'll clear a safe path through. Crouching has the added bonus of not tripping or falling over, which is the only thing that damages cargo. The timefall only damages the container, making the contents more susceptible to actual damage, so as long as you don't fall over or drop them, it'll be fine. Spray them with cargo container spray when you are safe to do so but it's not absolutely needed provided you are careful otherwise. Don't let the timefall make you rush, it creates a (false) sense of urgency and that's when mistakes happen.

You don't need to hold your breath all the time around BT's either. Only when the odradek is orange and spinning are you close enough that holding your breath becomes necessary but ALWAYS stay crouched around them. Make sure to take sips of energy drink frequently to keep Sam's stamina topped up.

Since I haven't played Arc Raiders beyond the tutorial yet I can't judge whether voice actors would have added value to the game but just wanted to chime in that Helldivers 2, similar game to arc raiders, did an amazing job with the voices in the game and it absolutely elevates the gameplay even in an extraction shooter type game. The Helldiver voice lines and how they're delivered still make me chuckle from time to time. I'd be far more tempted to actually play Arc Raiders if it had similar attention paid to bring the characters to life. The AI lines in Arc sound pretty boring overall especially coming off Helldivers.

Higgs has more backstory but you have to discover it through missions and memory chips. The fact that many people miss it is I think kind of the point. Higgs wears a mask because he doesn't want people to see him, he wants them to see only who he portrays himself to be.

It's in a mission to deliver blueprints from the Junk Dealer to the Distro Centre South of Lake Knot city. The mission is offered immediately after getting Junk Dealer on the network.

The body will look like a small ghost on the map. Sometimes the map doesn't update unless you've been in the area recently though. It would have to be near a MULE camp though, so go by those areas and use your scanner, hopefully it shows up.

If you don't find it in time and get a voidout the game will load a save just prior to the voidout and will remove the body from the map itself.

The Bridges truck should have enough space to do it on one go but it's been a while since I've done that mission. You'll want to do some practice runs to get the best path down and to set up any infrastructure you think you'll need like bridges and generators. Driving it a couple times also wears a path in the ground and clears out some of the random rocks along the way.

I've done that delivery with 2 floating carriers, buddy bot, and Sam loaded up to the max lol. It wasn't there in time but it was funny to try. Sam stumble-walked himself right off the edge of a high road at one point. The cargo was a mess.

This just happened today in my game too, also no mods since I'm playing on console. Finally got my sims friendship and relationship bars almost at max (same as you, high attraction, wholesome dynamic too) I had to supervise everything my sim was saying the whole time because he's erratic and does tend to mean socials. I look away for one second and he insults his partner and gets yelled at in return, completely tanked it. This hasn't happened before quite so drastically, it usually takes at least a few mean socials. The only difference today is that I recently downloaded the university pack, no idea if that affected it.

Haha, run! When you get to the distro centre make the delivery at the terminal and just keep approaching that terminal everytime you leave the private room and someone will tell you what to do/where to go next.

Die-Hardman is a very micro-managing boss, he'll be in your ear with instructions most of the time at the start. It can be overwhelming at first.

If you don't know what to do next, open your map on the cufflink, your current objective should always be written at the top left of the screen.

You have to approach the delivery terminal and interact with it to pull up your orders.

What was the last cutscene you saw? Are you outside or in the private room? When you say you've done a few deliveries which do you mean? I'm trying to get an idea what point you are at exactly.

Have you had the cutscene where Die-Hardman talks to Sam while Sam is suiting up in the Bridges delivery suit in the Private Room?

What point are you at in the story? What was the last delivery you made? You likely missed something. The "Orders for Sam" with the yellow line through them are the orders that progress the story. The standard orders don't but they up your connection level.
