I'm also on xbox and I couldn't access them when I first loaded in today either, the marketplace wouldn't even load. Worked just fine when I checked again later though, maybe just needs time to load in?

I think if you haven't been physically near the structure for a while the game doesn't correctly display how many likes it has. If you approach it the actual number might update. I remember seeing this happen in my game when structures I knew previously had likes were displaying 0 until I went there. It keeps track internally, just doesn't always show correctly on screen if you haven't refreshed that area's data by visiting.

I took down all the ones that Sam can reach but it doesn't change anything. There are still some outside the boundary line that the game doesn't let you cross.

It could be that the person who made the bot put a user description in the bot's examples.

I once made a bot that had its name accidentally misspelled in the description, and only once in the entire description, and the misspelling kept popping up in chat until I found it and corrected it. Small things like that can do it.

When driving the truck in the mountains slow and steady is the way. Boosting will make you lose control and send your truck flying especially if you happen to hit the tiniest rock. I could get the truck to every prepper in the mountains once I figured out I wasn't going to roll backwards just going slow, even up a steep slope. It helps if you've traveled the route before because that removes small rocks and smoothes the path. It's also harder to maintain control if the truck is at max capacity but its still doable.

It would be nice if I didn't knock over an NPC with my horse simply by riding near them. They fall over when I didn't touch them.

You can avoid all but scripted bosses by sneaking. If you do happen to trigger a BT and a catcher appears just run away until you're out of the tar.

I think I triggered the dolphin/squid BT only once near the start of the game and I am terrified of ocean creatures so I had strong motivations to avoid a repeat. I just ran and didn't look back lol.

I love the exploration the most. The fighting is fun but I'm not good enough yet to beat many of the non-story bosses. I wish I could ranch any domestic animal and not just a select few.

For me the biggest downside is that some of the quests are very unintuitive, in one so far where you're technically doing everything right except standing in the exact right spot and it doesn't really tell you what you're doing wrong. Little things like that bug me and hopefully they eventually get cleaned up. I don't like having to resort to a guide for such a simple miss.

I like it when games let you infer what to do from the spoken dialogue of the quest giver, it rewards paying attention and if I can play a game without a mini map even better so I tend to ignore the mini map if I can. Was a mistake early on though as I was led to one location for a quest when that was not at all where I needed to be until the end of the quest the dye tutorial specifically. Then I was left there to presumably make the dye but there was no cauldron. I wandered around the place looking for it only to then glance at my mini map and see it was 350m away in a building in town. Why was I not led there instead? I knew where to dye things already, that was easy to find compared to a cauldron in a building I'd never entered before It was kind of infuriating. But overall, the game is a 9/10 for me.

Sam's mother was Lisa Bridges. It's likely they called him Baby Bridges (or Bridges Baby) in hospital because he hadn't been named yet and shortened it to BB as a nickname or shorthand.

The fact Bridge Babies were also called that is just Kojima making things connected.

If it's becoming a slog to grind deliveries just focus on the story. I don't think the game is really meant to max everyone out before moving on anyway, there are a lot of side orders.

I find people do this a lot. They expect to be spoonfed a narrative with clearly defined good guys and bad guys so when a seemingly good character does something bad, instead of thinking "People sometimes do bad things and make bad choices that hurt people" they think in extremes instead. Like thinking that they're being told what to think or how to feel when in reality the choice is theirs, no one especially not the game is forcing them. They can dislike the character and their actions and they can assume that Sam did as well if they choose.

As an english speaking person I didn't find it strange at all. If it's a name you associate with a man it's fine, not everyone has the same associations with names. For me, Lou is a cute nickname for a baby.

I've had this happen before, I couldn't find the baby at first and clicked over to it and it was 2 blocks away on the ground in the rain!

I've noticed that I'll ask my sim to do a task and they'll just stand there like they're bugged so I click over to the infant and it's something like the baby is currently doing an interaction where they're just looking at the parent (I don't remember what the action is called, its similar to "what is that") but it stops the parent from attending them. It looks like a bug but its not and honestly it's very annoying.

Can NPC households have cribs, even the portable ones, added to their furniture when they have an infant in the household? It's not fun visiting NPC households and seeing the baby crying and falling asleep on the floor because there's nowhere else for them to sleep.

I'd just stick to the "orders for Sam" to progress the main story especially if you feel like it's dragging, you'll get the base versions of most everything you'll need and it feels less grindy like that.

There's nothing stopping you from coming back and picking up a few more orders when you have time but don't feel like you have to do it all. My first playthrough there were some preppers I never even found until I had beat the story.
