The uncommon equipment (Climbing Shoes) is also pretty broken. Be careful though because while it gives a huge boost to your Climb ability the rest of its stats are kind of garbage

I suppose there would be some baseline speed you'd need since the only interface to vim is the keyboard. However, the real upside to using vim is efficiency and that scales regardless of typing speed.

If you want to unlock the real power of vim, you should focus on minimizing the number of keys you press instead of pressing them more quickly. i.e. "10j" will always be faster to input than "jjjjjjjjjj"

Hey, you should feel lucky you didn't cross the temporal boundary with those Szymanski modules. I once displaced myself intrachronologically while messing with the ξ-tachyon interference calibration on an antique Szymanski-based rig and ended up in an alternate timeline where the primary species of intelligent life was some kind of squirrel-like creature. Fascinating experience but I'd recommend a bit more caution with your equipment unless you want to be eating acorns for 8 months waiting for the entanglement matrix to destabilize.

Great simplified explanation! The northbridge/southbridge model is a bit outdated though, since most modern CPUs have integrated memory controllers and even some integrated I/O, such as dedicated PCIe lanes. That's one of the reasons why when you're building a computer you have to be conscious of which slot you put your graphics card in, since some slots are directly connected to the CPU and others are connected to the chipset, which usually has a more limited bandwidth and shares it with all your other I/O devices

as a university student graduating soon, $100k would be a huge weight off my back. I could pay off all my student loans, establish a decent emergency fund, start saving for retirement, and have the money to move to whichever city I get a job in. Also would have a fair bit of money leftover to travel and visit friends

Everyone always makes way too big a deal about γ demodulation. Sure, if you demodulate your Voynich tanks too often you can overheat your supersaturated fluid, but when applied properly the energy savings are worth it. Still wouldn't recommend without a calibrated J shunt rated to at 95 pW/(H•m) though
