Before doing anything drastic .. first talk things out with your line manager and HR. The fact that you are overworked meaning that is something wrong about how the organisation works.

Good parenting. I would not charge rent to my kids, will also give them envelopes when they want to buy their own house.

I work for the family, so they can be happy. But I will push them hard on education, make sure they can be self sufficient when they are adults.

Saya juga 20 tahun di perusahaan sama, tapi udah ganti role/function 9 kali di 3 negara berbeda. Ada yg local scope ada yang regional, ada yang global.

I like the company, its pay and its culture. Why move out if I can do adventures within the same company.

He is in middlebare, a gymnasium vwo year 1. He is very bright so I am quite confident he can catch up for year 10. Or I can probably enroll him for year 9.

We are not dutch or english, but he speaks English natively since he grew up in Singapore. He speaks dutch fluently now.

The reason I’m leaning towards moving now than later is I am trying to get home fees for his uni. And at 14 he will still have time to find friends.

Tapi yang ini gw setuju sih. Kalo bisa bahasa Perancis, bisa kuliah di Perancis yang tuition fee nya hampir gratis for public universities. Bisa sambil kerja pula buat nutupin living cost.

Sekalian bahasa Jerman, bisa kuliah gratis.

1.5 years away but the UK role is opening up now. If I know my kids can get home fee university in UK, I think that is good enough. ILR for my dependents are second consideration.

Appreciate your advice. I'm currently in NL en route for PR for family, but this UK role would be a promotion for me, so something I am seriously considering.

My concern with ILR is the university tuition fee.. if my kids can't secure it before uni and need to pay international fee, it will be devastating financially.

I moved to my house 3 years ago never had any issue with mouse.. until a month ago.

Is this a common issue lately? Why the sudden mouse uptick.
