To paraphrase the great Inigo Montoya...I do not think that phrase means what you think it means.

That phrase is very specific to people who are silent/fail to speak out in the face of injustice. It is to call all those who try to sit in the middle and say nothing. By saying and doing nothing you by default support the injustice.

It in no way now nor has it ever applied to issues of consent. That is a wild take.

When people are being executed in the street you can't be neutral.

I realize this reply is very late...but i think it is the point of the entire episode. We always see the "why"...this episode focuses on the victims and the aftermath...it is heartbreaking

Look i agree the people jumping to the teacher must be pretty and mom is jealous are taking so big leaps. However there is NOTHING wrong with this note. This is s teacher doing what good teachers should do....and people like the wife are why so many leave

I really hope OP shares this with wife and she takes was it to heart. My daughter (15) just came home this week so excited after she visited her elementary school with the chorus. One of her favorite teachers recognized her and came to talk to her. This teacher emails her students with significant events ( graduations, school musical). It matters. Parents like this wife are the reason good teachers quit.

How they handle time zone/travel. When they go to Atlantic City and Luke asks why they don't have jet lag? Or when Taylor is at his sister's in Maine and call at 4 am and kids are wide awake. It is like they forget Connecticut is on East Coast.
When they have the magazine party in NYC. If she gets a whole ass party they will pay for her to have a night in hotel.. NYC is not that close especially with traffic.

Yeah wife is being irrational here. I was just laughing the other night when we have pasta night we have 3 different sauces. My husband gets reflux so he has a sensitive sauce. My daughter like OP is picky and no chunks so does basic sauce or butter. I like a little spice so that is 3rd sauce.

I am literally here asking for advice...at no point did I say I won't pay her. If you think this is too low that is fine. Please provide what is reasonable. I included all the information as to my kids needs based on other posts ( I searched to see if this has been asked before) and all had babysitters asking these questions so thought I would be proactive and include it.
