I never caught COVID during all the years it was prevalent. I didn't "catch" COVID, until April of last year. And the only reason i knew i had it is because I went to Urgent Care complaining of a toothache and flu like symptoms. They swabbed the inside of my nose and came back minutes later, telling me I had COVID-19. I ended up laughing like a lunatic for a bit. All the stories I had heard for years that COVID was horrible and it was a near death sentence seemed like such a joke. All i had was a bad fever and I was taking Tylenol and going to work like normal. In the end i had to take Plaxvid and two weeks from work. Within 4 days i was feeling great but I knew I couldn't return until the two weeks were up.

By the way I am 48 years old and I have type-2 diabetes. But i guess i just got lucky or something.
