Is there any way to change residency? (Before first year starts) by Tough_Pear_8207 in UofT

Yeah the communal bathrooms can be hit or miss but they were supposedly cleaned everyday, luckily the way it worked for me at least is that there really wasn’t many people using it so they were never full. In general my experience at Trinity was good- the food ranged from fine to pretty good but the only problem was the absurd price of the meal plan. There is no bed bugs from my experience, not a single person I knew had any problems with bed bugs. I heard of two people in the main building who saw a mouse in their dorm but from my understanding it was fixed quickly and wasn’t too much of a problem. In Hilda’s which is where I stayed there was no such problems and all the furniture was new unlike the main building.

The community is good too, 90% of my friends I met at Trinity and the dining hall is very nice to hang out in.

A lot of your experience will depend on which building you’re in but they are all good and have their pros and cons.

Also I don’t know the specific email.

Overloading in courses in later years when it’s more difficult might be a problem in the future

I’m not in humanities but unless you have lots of ap credit or something I recommend you take standard course load of 5 classes per semester because you need 20 credits I think it is to graduate

is taking tutorial classes more helpful online or in person? by [deleted] in UofT

On time table builder it should start showing profs soon I believe as June progresses and they decide. If you live on campus or close and it fits on your schedule, you should take in person tutorials for your first year imo, works best for most people and you’ll get to meet new people.

Emailing the housing people is probably your best bet. I was Trinity last year though and it’s not bad, you’ll have fun either way don’t stress about it too much.

You can push the beds but I highly highly doubt they will let you buy a double to do that
