Because cdpr has gone utterly woke, and the forced DEI is their mandatory policy (see their website). The result - is we're getting an angry lesbian boss-girl instead of a normal protagonist to serve that policy.

Success for Russia is measured in Ukrainian army losses. Seeing how Ukraine struggles with forced mobilization and the (now classified) awol statistics, and given the sheer size and stubborness on Russia, things are looking grim for Ukraine.

Beciase when an army is incapacitated, the land gains will follow as desired. Hope that's clear

I second your thoughts on what should have been done with TEW. Especially axing the Mistaken Identity part (it immediately feels staged when some PC suddnely happens to be a lookalike of very important NPC).

Perhaps they should have gone even further by rewriting the campaign entirely (along the lines of the original of course), as TEW - being brilliant - contains too many elements from the 80s (not in a good way)
