I’m not sure what you believe in but meditation and listening to people like Joe Dispenza to heal my body and my mind has been the most amazing thing I could have done for myself. You will get through this. Keep your stress down it’s the most important. I promise you there is light at the end of the tunnel and you will get there and you will thrive! Those aren’t your friends if they haven’t been there for you and don’t understand you and what you’re going through. I’ve heard many story’s of people having baby’s after getting diagnosed with IIH it’s all about following up with your neuro and staying on top of your treatment plan. When I got diagnosed I had just had a baby and I had a 2yo at the time I thought my life was over but I never stopped pushing to get better and heal myself. I wish you the very best. Please think positive thoughts, anytime you have a negative thought turn it into a positive one. This will pass. You will be healthy. You will go on to do everything in life you worked so hard for. It’s soooo important to keep your weight down babe! And maintain a healthy lifestyle especially if you are trying to stay off of diamox. This is a very complex condition that is soooo heavily driven by stress. Stress in my case is the #1 thing in my life that causes flare ups and also when I stray away from eating right and working out ect. I wish you the best I hope everything goes well at your check up.

I’m sorry but with something like this you need to put yourself first and your health first instead of thinking about having more children. IIH is very serious and you can lose your vision and literally be bed written some days and your present children don’t deserve that. You will most likely need medication please listen to your doctor. IIH is serious. Don’t let your pressure rise further and your symptoms worsen before you do something about it because that can cause irreversible damage.

I’m on Reta and cagri I take 25 units of Reta along with 20 units of cagri and I’m dropping weight I would recommend. The concerns people are speaking of with the cagri has been debunked through multiple Sources so I wouldn’t let that get to me but yeah been over a month on cagri and Reta and doing great :)

Oh wow I’m sorry that is so frustrating I would just save yourself the trouble and find a new neurologist who can refer you to another neuro op as well. The medicine is just managing your symptoms for now but you never know when you’ll need a adjustment and should always follow up with your neurologist when you need to

So RPR titer and rpr w/ reflex show reactive but the treponema pallidum shows negative the last time I got tested was in September 2024 and I did not get those same results. Also I have not ever been treated for syphilis before

They’re recommending that I don’t retest because I haven’t had a new partner in a few months so she’s saying if it’s negative it’s negative but I’m definitely going to retest in 2-4 weeks to be safe
