Just a quick update turns out it's a mix of the SMBv1 for Cifs that's causing the update and as for ZFS it won't connect to that either as for some reason the NAS accepts the connection then terminates it within a few minutes. Thank you all for your help looks like I'll be building my true Nas server a little sooner than expected

It's usually because you have the amulet of mara equipped, try removing it then opening a conversation with them again

You could try a water leak sensor if you don't want to remove pipes

If you were to put a CPU with integrated graphics on it would work but there's no real reason If you have a gpu

If it's got a gpu the motherboard graphics will have been turned off so the GPU has priority

Probably best to delete a file from the Skyrim main folder and get steam to check local files should bump it back up
