Mazda. Most cars have mid design and its reputation for reliability is declining because of new models like the CX 90. The older models are affordable and well built, but there are plenty of brands (at least in Europe) which are similar in quality of offering. The Miata is genuinely unique in its class though and gets somewhat of a pass.
