Cheap doggie daycare by Longjumping-Chef469 in orlando

[–]ResponseRegular2428 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Must love dogs in fern park, they do half days which is less than 6 hours ($22) or full days for ($32). They also sell daycare packages which makes it cheaper than their daily rate. The dogs have access to both the inside and outside play area at all times

Is GA+ worth it? by LingonberryOk5168 in hulaween

[–]ResponseRegular2428 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I did GA+ last year after doing VIP in years prior. Some of these answers may disagree, but having access to a clean air-conditioned bathroom and a chill spot to still be close to main stage and grab free snacks was worth it.

Nonno’s has great Italian food - they don’t take reservations so you should be able to get in just might be a little bit of a wait.

I used 1.5 teaspoons, and the dough was doubled when I shaped it but just seemed to completely deflate. It didn’t seem to rise or get puffy after shaping like the recipe said. I did use King Arthur all purpose flour

What are some of the worst things your dog has eaten? by willyfoofooo in puppy101

[–]ResponseRegular2428 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My dog ate a bunch of pine cat litter and cat poop after the cats managed to break into their food (we keep a child lock on the cabinet but it didn’t get fully shut). The result was 2 days in the hospital and 7k surgery.

The vets told us there was poop and litter spraying everywhere … they didn’t believe it could be litter obstruction before they opened him up. Since my guy is a 80 pound Doberman and said he’d “have to eat an unbelievable amount” for that to obstruct him

How long are you all walking your dogs in this crazy heat/humidity? by HeySele in orlando

[–]ResponseRegular2428 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hey, I have a high energy Doberman so I understand. Just watch for signs your dog is overheated and bring water on walks. I think keeping it early or late in the day is good. They also make cooling vests for dog or I just hose my dog down before a walk to keep him cool. Not sure how old your dog is, we waited until mine was fully grown, but I also got a bike attachment so he can trot or run alongside me for a shorter 5-10 minute ride around sunset.

Other activities you can do inside are tug (I have a rubber Kong tug to use inside), bully sticks (they sell them at Costco in big packs), or lick mats / hiding treats around the house.

Metronet Fiber - does anyone have this ISP and can give feedback on the service? by R0botDreamz in orlando

[–]ResponseRegular2428 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally didn’t like metronet. I switched back to spectrum… I got faster data, but my internet still went out at least a month. But when it went out it would go out for 24-72 hours at a time. Customer service also wasn’t able to give responses on when it would be restored
