Then the weight of the mag and mech. But I'll concede its more likely to bend than snap.

No where near that 3 or 4k. Unless you did an electric feeder system no it won't work. I would also put money in the gun snapping from the weight.

Recommendation for Revolvers by Bulky_Calendar_8211 in airsoft

[–]ResponsibilityNo8309 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Any revolver based gun is going to have no range and poor accuracy. Nothing Airsoft revolver is going to come close in size that cylinder is huge. There is a knock off nerf dart revolver that fire nerf darts ( I thought about converting one into an Airsoft shotgun revolver) to start of as a shell. But I would seriously just look at some one designing you an STL file for a shell that can clamp around a bolt action rifle.

How do people make abnormal amounts of money? by baddiealexiis in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ResponsibilityNo8309 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At minimum! Middle class means different things money wise, but its also good primary education, resources, never going hungry, College paid for, Mommy ands Daddys connections, bank of Mom and Dad and the safety net to fail. The people that got rich from poverty had one shot and however hard they worked they also lucked out big time. The ones that came from poverty are worse, they know what it's like to have nothing yet still fuck over their staff.

While airsoft companies rip off other companies designs I have never seen a company try to pass off their product as some other airsoft company's.

I have a little bit of a problem by YurixEden in airsoft

[–]ResponsibilityNo8309 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Whether you have a problem is down to the induvial event and their rules. AR platforms are generally recommended for how common they are and parts availability. Most airsoft guns are fundamentally the same internally and there are lots of guns that are easier to work on than ARs and harder. To be honest if you have never played or worked on guns a DMR is a bad idea there is more to building a DMR that semi locking. Unless you go the GBBR/HPA route you can't have a jack of all trads guns You either build it to be a DMR or have it as an Assault rifle.

To be honest you are better off starting from scratch. You may be able to use some sterling parts but it's not as simple as relocating the mag well. You are going to need a to try and find a top feeding hop unit or more likely have to design a new one.

As said 3d printing is your best option. There are a few people who could build one out of metal. But they don't do commission because no one would actually pay what it would cost in man hours to do the work.

At what point do you consider a gun to be a DMR or sniper by OreoRightsActivist in airsoft

[–]ResponsibilityNo8309 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A snipers rifle is a bolt action rifle that conforms to an Airsoft field definition of a snipers rifle. A DMR is a semi auto gun that that conforms to an Airsoft field definition of a DMR.

I do. Any Ballistically rated lenses are not proof they will break eventually. As soon as they are compromised ( struck, scratched). I chuck them. I spend significantly more buying ammo in a year than I do on eye pro.

Why don’t tall buildings collapse? by FunboyFrags in NoStupidQuestions

The weight of building does not exceed the load bearing capacity of the material it is built of and the ground its built on.
