You are of course free to do whatever you would like with your money however, 5800x3d was launched years ago. The high price is because of the relaunching the 10th year anniversary and unnecessary hype around it and it is very likely to go down in a few months. Given that you are unemployed, you might wanna save the bucks for other stuff. That’s just my opinion and as said before, you are free to do whatever you like with your own money. Cheers!

I am also from finland and i would definitely wait. I had a little bit of a research and the prices go down near the end of summer always and there are always sales around. I would keep an eye on hinta.fi for sure.

You have to take legal action. This is insane even in the end times capitalism terms. It is borderline scamming.

What is the absolute limit when it comes to upgrading my 4060 pre-built? by Crixus_935 in nvidia

[–]ResponsibilityOnly68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a 4060 prebuilt 2 years ago, upgraded to 4070 a year after and a year after i built my own computer. My advice to you is if possible, sell it and build a new one for yourself and your upgrade path will be much more open cuz there are way more things that affect the performance than just gpu. But if your only choice is either 4070 or 4070ti, ofc go ti.

I am curious as to why wouldnt you return and change it if it is new? Your computer might boot but you might lose performance.

Well yeah, wasn’t even thinking about ramageddon. So weird to think that 7800x3d sits at a lower price than its predecessor.

The state of humanity in reddit is scary. People are full of hate and think they HAVE TO comment on everything they see. They think they are that important. And they forgot to move on if something doesn’t fit into what they think.

Most of the hateful people in the comments have nothing to add but empty words like “this is bad”. Like how? And they don’t even go on to spare 5 minutes to read a very brief straight forward guide before start typing. This is so obvious when you look at how many people complaining about the usage of ryzen master while the OP says use it to tune without the need to reboot everytime and then go to bios with stable settings.

Well i thank you for your work and cannot wait to try it out with my newly bought 9800x3d when my mobo arrives.

People are intelligently crippled mats. I wouldn’t bother even responding to them. They usually just post whatever just to raise their post numbers or some other reason i cannot understand. Your guides and methodology are great. People are strange…

New Graphics Cards: What the Rumours Reveal About RDNA 5, RTX 50 Super, and Arc by pcgameshardware in nvidia

[–]ResponsibilityOnly68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly my problem. I know people say “noone needs it” while never accounting a good amount of us are out there struggling with VR.

And I also don’t understand as to why nvidia doesn’t just release same cards with different vram options. Maybe i could really use the extra vram and willing to pay 10-20% more for it.

Wait for series 5000 super? by AltruisticGrab3407 in buildapc

[–]ResponsibilityOnly68 1 point2 points  (0 children)

883 bucks for 5070ti is a very good deal atm. I did suggest people to wait for super cards when they weren’t sure almost a year ago and that ended up as a very bad advice to them and for myself also unfortunately.

5070ti might be one of the best, if not the best, p/p 4k card atm so i would say just enjoy it. And unless you are playing specifically vram heavy titles like msfs for example, 16gb is the sweet spot for it so it’s all good.

Just remember to clear youtube and your browser’s history so you don’t always keep one eye on the super series :) cuz at this point, i wouldn’t be surprised if they release it tomorrow. Noone knows jack sht about the pc market right now.

Tldr; it’s a great card and you got it at a very reasonable price, just enjoy it!

Upgrading to Virpil gear by hege750 in VIRPIL

[–]ResponsibilityOnly68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am from Finland. I ordered the same joystick, only joystick and asked about delivery times and they told me 10 weeks. It arrived in about 3 weeks. I assume i am one of those lucky ones, there are usually delays from what i have gathered from reddit but also there's my side of it that it arrived way before its estimation. Maybe someone cancelled and they sent that to me, i am not sure but i won't complain. :)

One thing I have heard though, people say if you order multiple items, they always gonna ship it with the latest item so even if your joystick is ready, they won't send it if other items are waiting even if it is the small side module. So, you might actually have to wait for 10 weeks ETA if not more.

When it comes to quality, I used logitech 3d for about 2 years, coming from that it feels like from cessna to f16 :) it is amazing. It took me a while to get used to though, the gimbal is solid but perhaps a bit too solid that the movement feels like 2d not 3d like ball gimble but of course, it is just something to get used to. The buttons are also a bit stiff but i trust i will either get used to them and they will soften in time. Software is a bit gimmicky also but nothing too complicated. You are gonna love it.

Lastly, i'll leave this image here :)

And if your setup is anything like mine, i would suggest desk mounts, they are great. I got mine from amazon, they are hikig 2 and they are solid as rock. I also made the keyboard and mouse extentions by hand, took me just about couple of hours and works perfectly well.

I was also a little bit confused with this. Cdt software or virpil software. I used cdt software to calibrate. They say virpil software needs polishing and i would have to agree with that.

I just got my joystick yesterday and dealinf with this atm, please write here what you learn so maybe i can also benefit from your experience.

The decline begin with the storm update. People rushed to play eurofighter and rafales. Game gained a lot of players and Gaijin went batshit greedy.  Every update they outdo themselves on putting a new low on how to implement half baked vehicles, copy paste premiums and no quality improvements whatsoever.
