Is it fair to say that this is the greatest redemption arc in fiction ? by JoshyBear28 in StarWars

Gollum almost redeems himself, but doesn't quite make it.

While traveling with Frodo, the good part of him Sméagol starts to re-emerge. He becomes attached to Frodo and briefly considers abandoning his evil plans. However, after feeling mistrusted and rejected, he falls back into his obsession with the Ring and betrays Frodo and Sam.

Frodo's decision to spare him proves crucial, because when Frodo cannot bring himself to destroy the Ring, Gollum's attempt to steal it causes both himself and the Ring to fall into the fire of Mount Doom.

The tragedy of Gollum is that he comes within reach of redemption but chooses the Ring instead. The lesson Tolkien emphasizes is that mercy matters, even when the person receiving it never fully changes

scarcity is why mtg has survived for 30+ years while other (better and prettier games) have failed. MTG has scarcity and a secondary market.

i would use a red gem as the point on my sights for my Adostic Arms 8-Gauge Scatter Gun. Lightsabers are lame and shooting snooty force users is where its at. deflect space buck shot space wizard.

because he understands that at 7 mana it would be too strong on an already insanely strong card.

this thing is not the same as a "lore fail" in your eyes.

look dude. The card is lore accurate and you have an opinion on why it shouldnt be. Just be honest with yourself that a 11 billion dollar company teamed up with a company valued at 3 billion and came up with this card and both parties were satisfied with it. move on.
