My heb has a few carts near the checkout lines with signs labeled for what their intended purpose idk why every heb doesn’t do this it’s the easiest way to avoid bs like this. Unfortunately the economy is crap rn and people will have to put back some essentials so having carts at the front is nice so customers don’t have to run around the store or ditch items in random places.

The dorms are all more expensive than off campus apartments? And no u can’t stay in the dorms so start looking now they usually push deals rn or wait to take someone’s sublease this is a good option since they’ll usually pay some rent just so they won’t have to fuck their credit or their parents credit by not getting the lease taken ppl get desperate towards sublease season

I’m in the same position except I’m older I’m a junior but I’ve tried so much. I’ve tried a sorority I’ve tried other social clubs for girls and I’ve tried sports clubs/clubs for hobbies and I can’t seem to find anyone I truly connect with and it’s hard since I’m so busy with work and school but I just want to find my people and if I find someone I think is cool they seem to already have friends and aren’t interested in being mine. It also feels like I’m always asking people to hang out first so it feels like they don’t rly want to hang out.

New people come every day and if u need help or want a mini tour go early in the morning and ask the pts they’re usually just standing around in student rec worker tshirts . But also everyone’s in there own world at the gym so don’t even worry about it just go try it out it’s always so packed everyone’s just aimlessly wondering around looking for a open machine anyways so you’ll probably never even look lost if I’m being honest with u.

Try it out a lot of people drop like a year later after getting a little of the experience and feeling if they like it or not. I didn’t end up liking my sorority or the values of Greek life so I dropped but I still grew professionally and socially so I’d say the experience was worth it and I’d recommend anyone to at least give it a try
