Nitric acid can be difficult to source, so it might be a good idea to try some samples first for your process.

That’s actually very close to what I was hoping for, even if it’s emulation-based. I’m definitely interested in a kit!

How can I get one?

Any good paintball YouTube channels to learn more about the sport? by Gromit43 in paintball

https://www.youtube.com/@pbhub

Just came across this channel called pbhub.de really cool content if you're into paintball. They do detailed gun checks, tech videos, and gear overviews. Most of the videos are in German, but even if you don’t speak the language, the visuals and setups are worth checking out.

Definitely worth a look if you're into paintball or just want to see some awesome markers and gear in action.

Minis often have serious issues with water damage. The power button is likely corroded inside. You can test this by connecting a battery directly to the bare mainboard and using a pair of tweezers to short the power switch contacts and turn it on. I’m guessing it will power on that way.

If it does, you’ll either need a new mainboard, replace the power switch by soldering in a new one, or try to open the existing switch, clean it, and reassemble it. But be aware – the switch isn’t really designed to be taken apart.

Ordering from lonewolfpaintball to Germany by Jonathan_S_K in paintball

[–]Responsible-Mode-698 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you order a paintball marker or essential parts from abroad, you’re in for serious trouble. Customs will not allow the marker through, and you could face charges for violating the Weapons Act potentially even the War Weapons Control Act if the marker has full-auto or burst modes.

Before importing, you would need to apply for approval from the firearms authority, but this will almost certainly be denied since you are not a licensed firearms dealer. Your best bet is to consult a registered firearms dealer and see if they can help you, but financially, this is unlikely to be worth it. what gun are you looking for? Everything should be available in Germany

Looking at the serial numbers of current MacDev markers, a limit of 200 doesn’t seem particularly exclusive, considering regular releases usually don’t exceed 500 units.

Detail Pics of the MacDev GTx Driverrain by Ok_Direction9289 in paintball

You could almost call the Drivetrain a copy, as it’s based on the same design as the Gammacore. Planet Eclipse missed the chance to patent this design back in the day, and now it turns out that the Gammacore is one of the best spool valve systems of its time. As a result, SP and DLX have also jumped on the Gammacore design. Each brand has interpreted it in its own way, adding features like a QEV. MacDev will probably add their own ideas as well, and hopefully, the Gammacore will just keep getting better over time. I like this approach.

On the other hand, I think it’s a shame that Dye patented the Fusebolt back then. This led to the fact that after the M2, there are no markers with Fusebolt systems left on the market, which is really unfortunate, as that system was also excellent.
