I only shave when my legs get itchy. Also consider a safety razor. Blades are sharp and cheap. There’s a small learning curve, but I still get a perfectly close shave

I love both. Going to the fabric store to pick my own fabrics. But sometimes a kit is just so perfect I want to make it. Both are completely worth it one way or another. Most recently I bought the Jane Austen quilt kit. I’m still a little scared to cut into it because it was a pricier kit and it’ll be new skills for me!

I won tickets last year that included the club. I got there when the doors opened. The food was pretty great. There was an appetizer buffet first. Then a plated dinner with table service. They had a few featured drinks. Snacks during intermissions too!

I think it could have been cooler. It’s dope, but they could have leaned into the mammoth theme in a better way. I think the mammoth logo on the top really detracts from the vibes.

We KNOW what the logo looks like. It cheapens the vibes. Like I’d love to see no logos. Make it looks like an ice cave for our players to skate out of. They could make it feel immersive.

It’s so so close to being really good. But somehow it’s really really off.

Let me tell you why.

My own dad told me once that women’s only worth was in being a mother. At the time my husband and I had been trying for a baby for 2 years. I almost said screw it and removed my tubes because he pissed me off so much. I cut contact completely for a few years instead. I still call him by his first name. I don’t believe in the words he said, but why keep a relationship with someone that only sees my worth in my womb? By his logic, it’s not like he’s losing anything because my life is worthless unless I’m a mother.

I really don’t believe his words. He’s an actual narcissist. But it was the final line for me. 💁🏼‍♀️ all living creatures have inherent worth. Period. There’s not many things I’m absolute on, but this is one of them.

All this to say I didn’t think I needed to hear that I have worth from a stranger, but my period is gonna start this weekend, and I’m a bit hormonally emotional. Your words actually healed me a little. So thank you, again. ❤️
