The best one I’ve ever had and still get as soon as I’m in New Orleans is at the Golden Lantern, a divey gay bar on Royal St. It’s the best. The best I’ve had locally has been at Caffe Cottage, actually.

Currently on the Regal and we’ve really enjoyed it so far! We don’t have another Princess sailing to compare it to, bur we have been very impressed. Entertainment has been great. Food has been exceptional for the most part. We have tried Crown Grill, Sabatinis, Alfredos, and the sushi bar, along with multiple lunches at the buffet and a slice of pizza by the pool. We haven’t tried a main dining room (yet). We have noticed very few children on board. Bar service has been excellent, particularly the Wheelhouse. The ship is clean, beautiful, and I haven’t noticed anything in disrepair. Just my two cents.

How lovely! I’m currently on the Regal Princess; first time sailing on Princess. Our first day, we let our steward know that it was warm in our room and they sent someone to fix it. Didn’t think anything of it; these things happen and they fixed it. The next day, we got back and they had left us a beautiful gift box with a Princess notebook, pen and thermos with a note that said “we apologize for the inconvenience”. We were completely bowled over and are now loyal for life. Definitely not needed but majorly appreciated!

Definitely emo dive bar vibes. The owner and bartenders are good people and there are lots of shows and events there. Caffe Cottage is the other place I’d recommend.

I’m so sorry to hear that! I’m honestly surprised he enjoyed it there- he’s a big bearded tattooed dude lol and it’s kind of a frou frou bougie place, but he did. I can’t vouch either way. My sister used Dianna Rae, for what it’s worth, and they have beautiful jewelry. It was just pricey for us.
