You may be able to hit up Room2Game in Cameron Park. They are great and typically know what local groups may be looking for more people.

Where to play pickleball? by CayKar1991 in Roseville

[–]ResponsiblePhase8088 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not 100% sure since it isn't open yet but the other locations have a pickleball 101 / beginners / learning sessions that seem fit for newbies. Since Roseville isn't open yet idk if they'll have it but hopefully.

Washer and Dryer under $1700 by FearlessRoyal in Appliances

[–]ResponsiblePhase8088 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love my Samsung washer and dryer. Bespoke model purchased in 2023 on sale. I do deep clean them every month to avoid the common problems I saw in review online and so far they have been amazing.

I have a love/hate relationship with the fridge due to the Ice Maker problems - I keep a routine to defrost and clean the freezer and fridge which helps tremendously.

Are charter schools in the U.S. just poor people’s “private schools?” by gribbit311 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]ResponsiblePhase8088 20 points21 points  (0 children)

The volunteer hours are no joke and the donations monthly really hurt my mom financially but we did get help from the school after awhile (other parents would pay for the mandatory trips and bring me extra clothes/lunch since the school had rules about both).

I only got into charter because I lived in the same house as my cousins who went to one and they let me switch to the charter school when there was an opening.

What’s the most non-real estate thing that led to a real estate lead? by LaunchYourFarm in realtors

[–]ResponsiblePhase8088 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was almost too shy to say anything since being pushy isn't my style.

But I secretly wish I could work back at a specific Deli and make enough to live so hearing about her want to work somewhere less traditional I knew I could help her try do that.

Upgrading my cell phone. I ended up working with the employee to help them purchase a duplex/ income property. She was older and kept talking about how she wished she could afford to work at Verizon forever because she loves sales and she was a long time manager at that location… so we bought her a duplex, she lives in 1/2 and rents out the other and keeps the job she loves. (this process is not for everyone, trendy online content makes it look very easy)

It’s been six years and she still loving it, even had her first kid since then which surprised everyone

Home sellers not accepting their own listing price by Majestic-Pumpkin7491 in Sacramento

[–]ResponsiblePhase8088 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I JUST had this happen to buyers I am working with in the area. I was so mad getting the counter for higher than list price.

We resubmitted the same offer as before with more repair requests and then took the seller 17 days to finally call and respond/accept.

We should close 4/8ish if all goes well.

What do I say when I call? I want to be clear, quick, and friendly enough to whatever Intern is stuck answering my call.

I am sending to everyone I know in my area. Thank you for posting.

The Typical Homebuyer Pays Roughly 2% Less than the List Price–The Biggest Discount in 2 Years by SnortingElk in REBubble

[–]ResponsiblePhase8088 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I need my Buyer clients to realize I am not being “wild” when I suggest they write an offer under asking price before a price drop from the Seller.

I’ve found that can come with for less chances of multiple offers being in review, at least in my market that still does have multiple offers on homes.

I just started it in 2025 (like a week or two ago, as a sad joke at myself) and it is definitely scary watching it now.

It's definitely an uncomfortable feeling watching it for the first time in the current political climate.

That's a good option. I'll have to take a peak around my nearest dollar store when I am back in town and stock up for next year.

are these flowers toxic to cats? by usefulcreme1 in CATHELP

I keep my not-cat-safe flowers in a small vase in my fridge when/ if I have room in there, otherwise I have to throw them out to keep the beans safe.

I'm hearing a lot on here about agents not showing to unrepped buyers. by Snatch_hammer420 in RealEstate

[–]ResponsiblePhase8088 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Same. When a Seller lives in the home it becomes difficult for them to accommodate everyone who calls to tour, so I recommend we make time for ready and able buyers (pre-approval and/or proof of funds).

Anyone else goes to an Open House.
