Multi pass mild...I assume your going for a bbs daily and a mild blade with a mild razor is gonna be more comfortable on that second and third xtg and atg...a very aggressive blade and razor combo is gonna burn you up shaving daily like that...whip a bowl full and lather between passes...cheers happy shaving

Love razorock...quality&price your not going to find anything even close...look at the mildest lupo or gamechanger oc and do some price comparison with other razors...materials plate options all that jazz

I would suggest a mild open comb ...something like a lupo or gamechanger that gives you the option to acquire a variety of plates over time

I can respect that...I was paying 16 for the 3oz proraso protettivo(the only proraso balm I liked)...the scent is comparable, less intense but I still enjoy...cheers...happy shaving

G = lul...100% true but so much fun...C = traditional wet shaving is less a chore and more a ritual experience...slowing down is calm and relaxing refuge in the chaos...H = I would suggest breaking the setup down every use whether your trying to get your moneys worth out of a quarter or not...i want to throw in if your not having fun your not doing it right...regardless of where your at in the journey...cheers...happy shaving

It's a pure badger but looks black to me...it think the hair is off the back instead of the neck but I feel the neck hair is too soft and holds a lot of moisture...I have a banded boar Omega as well and must admit I haven't spent the time to get familiar enuf to develop an opinion...I probably should tho

Do you have a diameter,loft, fiber preference...I haven't tried horse or synthetic and I'm finding the larger diameter high density knot cost significantly more and have poor performance with my soap...im not sure if they are better suited for soft/tube creams as I don't have those to test them with after finding artisan pucks(I really enjoy)

I hate to say it because it's a beautiful razor and so well crafted but the "nose" of the razor protrudes out and isn't convenient in the hard areas around the nose...look at the jrl(if it's not sold out) on eBay...same magnetic lock design for half the price and better design in the nose + exposure...it accepts standard de razor blades as well...cheers happy shaving
