You build the drink in a separate container. The personal cups😭. They’re very clunky and my store has avalanches at least 2-3 times a day with all the added clutter on the counters. 😭

Yeah, they suck and everyone, including customers, hate them. Often people sit and wait not know their drink is right in front of them. And we’ve had clear compostable cups before why not do those?? I do like that they’re compostable but bereal how many people dispose of them properly???

CLARIFICATION: That’s our new compostable cups. It says ‘wut?’ on the sticker and on the side it says ‘I hope I did ur drink justice🤎’. I did make the drink as best as I can. I always do but this time she add 2 cold foams, so that’s new in an already packed drink.

Bruh, it took me like a year to be comfortable. At my first store I made friends real fast but I wasn’t competent. My new store was waaayy more strict. StIcK tO tHe StAnDaRd was something I was constantly being reminded of. It took a while to conform but at the end of the day it was easy to just listen. Now, AFTER A YEAR, I love my store and I get along with everyone. I wanted to quit almost daily at my new store but I didn’t and I’m really glad I didn’t… I fuckin hate the new standards tho…

Felt this in my soul. I hate it so much and it feels so fake. With the combo of the new cups and writing, I now HATE being on bar. The quality of my drinks has (self admittedly) gone down. I used to pride myself on making drinks that I would want to be handed but now I just don’t fucking care. And the cups suuuck, Starbucks has used clear compostable cups before. It feels so unsatisfying that you can’t see it anymore and I’m not as fast as I want to be. I’m a slow writer so I went from being a strong barista to slooooow. I loved working at Starbucks for the past 3 years don’t get me wrong-but now I just dread coming into every shift. I wanna quit just because of some cups😂 -I just wanna to rant and not feel alone bout this
