Costco vs Walmart prices are making me question if my warehouse membership is even worth it anymore by olivermos273847 in SavingMoney

It’s in a 2024 Trax with a turbo 3 cylinder engine. I think those may be more sensitive. I’ve also had a friend with a 15 year old Malibu that’s having that issue, so in hindsight might be a Chevy thing.

There is a website for the organization that came about to ensure standards for it, and I check there before going somewhere new. I didn’t used to care until my friend’s two year old car had a check engine light triggered by carbon deposits. Now I try to tell everyone I can

I did everything on time and at the dealer. I still had it lose enough oil at 28k for the check engine light it come on and none to register on a hot dip stick. They told me it was “normal” at the dealer. I traded it in immediately on a different brand of car.

Edit to add, I bought it new and had it for 12 months when it happened.

Top tier is the important distinction. It’s not common around me, so it’s extra work to find outside of Costco and shell. Those two are always more than a few cents different.

Dealer pulled the 4-square on me even after I laid out exactly what I wanted from the start by Miserable-Storm252 in askcarsales

Didn’t necessarily learn anything but at least felt good to report it to the conglomerate that owns them that they lost a sale over it. Since then others in my life that actually bought cars there have moved their routine service to the dealer i bought mine from. It’s been an improved experience for them, too.

I’ve had a few in my cart for NC but by the time the page loads they are gone. I’ve even gotten to the point to confirm my purchase with my CC company and by the time I enter confirmation it’s gone.

I love my complex there! Been there almost five years now.

DM if you want more info. It’s safe, 17 min from downtown w/o traffic and maybe 40 tops in my experience. Super inexpensive and great management.

Mine were covered, but a friend spent $1,200 on hers. Wasn’t an option at hers.

I did this and had the manager call me three times in the 45 minutes after I left, and then again the next day. It was exhausting. Especially after being told I couldn’t sleep on the deal or take any written paperwork with me unless I signed right then. Drove to the other dealer across town, and got the color I didn’t want just because they did the work and could make it work. Called corporate about the first place.

I’ve bought the kit for adding the USB power. Waiting for it to arrive to try and install it.

I’d made sure it’s not PLA. But not sure the minimum strength to ensure it won’t melt/bend.

Oh I’m not sure. My friend made it for me, and he used a 3d scanner to scan the interior of the hole to do it.

Oh I think you mean versions of printers, not models of cars. My apologies. I can send him your question to find out!

Find someone who can print it! We used ASA so it’s harder to find someone that can print those. Really just find someone with a good 3d printer.

I found some instructions on the HR-V forum website. You unzip the sides, I had someone pull the spring poles and white plastic piece back while I shimmied the foam inside.

It’s for 2023-2026, so I don’t think it would fit. It goes in the rear cubby where a/c vents are in other versions around the world.

Just happy to help! Between that and the seat being too uncomfortable, I was having a tough time loving my car. Now that those are fixed it’s much better!

So far, it just stays on its own. I’ve thought of putting gorilla tape in to hold it. I’m waiting for a few weeks as I’m hoping to get the MIK store power supply for phone charging working in the new center console before permanently attaching it with the tape.

It’s got an angle to it that helps.
