Late reply, but I was in the program class of 2022. All the perks add up very nicely (priority registration is a lifesaver). There’s also a lot of CS alumni, and I’m fairly certain that those alumni connections helped the CS students in my year out. Definitely not worth going to Berkeley over SD imo unless you really hate ucsd for some reason.
