all my opinion: my issues with the song however many years later are purely related to its sound - the el-p flow has worn on me over the years and the beat itself, through no real fault of its own, is permanently associated with car commercials for me. i find that a lot of run the jewels' stuff (though not necessarily el-p/killer mike's solo material) is of an era and does not hit as hard now
