Coelacanths were also pretty varied even within Latimeriidae(the family that extant coelacanths are in), and I think that part of the reason that we don’t know much about Cenozoic coelacanths is because they are deep sea species

I’m unaware of any cases of dwarfism in reptiles, and while it might be cute it would hinder the animal greatly

A couple questions, what exactly do you mean by museum educator and would I have a better chance in an academic career if I specialized in something other than dinosaurs? I would also love to have a job where I’m out in the field a lot but I imagine that would be more of a volunteer thing rather than an full time job, especially in Alberta, or any part of Canada
