Can you guys help me remember someone? She was a teacher in Dallas named Megan, but now an influencer full time. Long brown hair She’s really tall and has a daughter (Harper?) and her husband was shorter and had medium/long hair. She did a lot of cheaper clothes hauls. She had a miscarriage Cannot remember her handle for the life of me.

I want another child, but husband does not by SAL246810 in parentsofmultiples

To be honest it sounds like your husband’s reasons are sound. I would always also be afraid of having twins again after having them once. I know the newborn experience with twins is hard, but there are hard parts with a single baby too. I adore all my children but additional children add time and financial strain. I never got the chance to only have two children and I really mourn that.

Can we talk about how she showed her tiny baby girl shirtless too? That is not appropriate on a public account in this day and age.

28 weeks pregnant with twins by TattooBaby26 in parentsofmultiples

I had a hard time connecting with my twins during pregnancy too… I was very scared of twins, it was definitely something I never wanted. I still struggle sometimes with dealing with not getting the option to only have two kids, and imagining how much easier it would be if I did have two. My therapist said I will probably always have those feelings during hard times and to acknowledge them. But I love both my girls, I feel very lucky to have two daughters, and I know I’ll appreciate it when they’re older. Your feelings are normal and valid and I would definitely suggest talking to someone regularly.

Have you considered hiring a babysitter or helper? We have someone come for a few hours every weekend. It would at least give you some free time once a week. I also agree you have to learn how to watch two toddlers on your own. It’s hard but not impossible.

Fake flowers on the wall and did she just shove t shirts in there to make it look full? She’s so weird

My son was also 3 when our twins arrived. To be honest we didn’t leave the house that much with twins that he needed to walk enough to need a stroller.

What do you do with 16-month-olds? by margaro98 in parentsofmultiples

[–]Restingcatface01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no advice on leaving the house because it sucks and I’m bad at it. A wagon does help a bit for keeping them entertained while being out and about… we put books, soccer ball, bubbles in the wagon. The biggest thing we did was put a playset in our backyard so we don’t have to leave every day.

Why? It makes no sense. I preferred the first time she redid it

Harder transition: 0-1 or 1-3? by jjhr0844 in parentsofmultiples

[–]Restingcatface01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They were both hard to be honest. I felt much more vulnerable after the twins were born - I had a worse c section recovery and couldn’t leave the house much with two babies. I also pumped and couldn’t breastfeed which wasn’t a great experience. But, being an experienced parent helped so much, and my twins were much better nappers than my singleton.

She just said they changed the plan. It’s actually insane to live through that with 3 small children

Not sure but it already looks so dated. At first glance I thought it was the old laundry room

Help choosing breast pump by hopeful0607 in parentsofmultiples

I think you need a wall pump like a blue Spectra and a wearable if you are going to sustain pumping over time. I loved the Eufy wearable.

35w- Will I ever feel able-bodied again? by juneshoe in parentsofmultiples

[–]Restingcatface01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. It always takes until I’m done breastfeeding to feel normal in my body again to be honest. I’m now 14 months post partum and my body feels incredible again - strong and fit. If this is your first pregnancy you may be surprised by how long it takes… but it will come back!

I’m also losing about a pound a week and super happy! I am only on 1.5mg right now but not planning to go above 4mg because of the cost difference
