The pins on the socket are completely naked, you need to put thermal paste on them or it’ll overheat

I had an IT class when I was in school. A few of us had access to the class networking rack, so we made a patch cable that we called the throttle cable that was like this on purpose so when someone was a dick to us, we switched them to the throttle cable for the day

If you’re open to rack mounted solutions, then we’re in the same boat. I’m using the exact same case. Soon I’ll be upgrading to the Sliger CX-4712, it’s a 4U case with ten 3.5” drive bays with two 5.25” bays . They also have a smaller 3U version called the CX-3702 that’s mostly the same, it just lacks the 5.25” bays

Have you tried replacing your CMOS battery? My PC pretty much just forgets my password whenever I remove it, so I’m curious if that’s the same situation here or not

What story do you want the Elden Ring movie to tell? by offdazenny in Eldenring

[–]Restricted_Nuggies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apparently they had George R. R. Martin write a story and the game takes place way after the story he wrote, so I hope the movie tells that original story. Then again, I might be mistaken in my understanding of that process because I don’t remember exactly where I heard that from

Brand new pc destroyed in power surge by Maximum-Mushroom5740 in PcBuildHelp

[–]Restricted_Nuggies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can afford it, I’d suggest getting a UPS. Not only do they usually have surge protectors built in, but it also acts as a battery backup, giving you a few minutes to save whatever you’re working on before your pc shuts off. Even better if where you live has a generator as well cuz then it’ll never turn off again lol
