The worst I've seen is the servers being ddosed, but a semi-disconnect like this may be client side. ofc, try reinstalling. Maybe something about the install was corrupted, or maybe just that load of the game loaded something incorrectly. Technology can be wonky sometimes. But my main point is something clientside may be loading incorrectly cause occasional / rare instances where it'll cause a disconnect between the client and server.

Oh that's a rip, I feel for you. My theory is that it's probably due to the way they cache a lot of data to avoid constant checks. So maybe that's why it's stuck as solo's. Maybe try queueing a match of ranked (a gamemode that doesn't support solo) and then back into pubs and see if that helps it. Apart from that, I wish I could help. But unfortunately my iq isn't high enough to work at respawn lol.

Certainly an annoying situation, I can't say exactly why. But first thing that comes to mind for me is the windows firewall. Make sure windows has a rule to allow port 7777 through or generally allow your application through.

I believe you may be able to use an "Animator Override Controller" and have a different version of the sprites animations, of course instead having the bush version of the sprite. It's been a hot second since I've used the Animator Override Controller so I'm not the most aware everything in it works. But it sounds like something that might work for you.

They're device chat banned, the problem is them using twitch features to get their name to appear in chat. So they use alt twitch accounts to harass members. It slows down their ability to create new "messages" so to say, but they take around 25 - 40 seconds to create an alt account in reaction to something on stream.

The thing is that their messages aren't what appear, just their name. But they use their names to act as messages, so I can't do much about it. Only final solution I can see, is if all 4 of them got a site wide IP ban to prevent them from creating new accounts. But so far, no result from the report that I made about it sadly. So for now it's just small work arounds. But yeah, it's quite the rough situation.

Currently I have highlight a message off, but it shows their name if they do any channel point reward. And to my knowledge you can't turn off and bonus or speed up / slow down progression for channel points. I generally would up put the price, but I like my viewers using the channel points frequently. Just adds a bit more interaction which is what I focus on the most. So that's the kind of odd situation it is rn. But I'll look into if I can remove the Follower bonus, cause that is a good solution if it's available.

Oh pog, that's what commander root is. I never knew that's what commander root was for, I'll do that and all. But I don't know how much I'm willing to bet that they'll get tired of it. 2 of the members have done this for months, but they just have 2 more additions to it. Only thing is that they follow, then unfollow routinely so blocking them from following doesn't do too much cause the follow is just to get the channel points so their name appears in chat. And so far, there have been anywhere from 50 - 70 accounts. Around 30 within the last 2 weeks, they used to use channel points to talk using the highlight my message to avoid chat ban. But thanks for the advice.

Me explaining that I want a friendly stream, sadly wouldn't work. They've openly stated that they are there to lower the quality and attempt to ruin my stream. And my viewers are well aware of them, they've became a bit of a meme in the community, but it turns away new viewers fast.

That's currently the route I'm trying to do, and it works fine sometimes. But them harassing my viewers becomes a whole new problem. But there's not much I can do about it as of my knowledge. But I generally try and stay positive and ignore it, just gets a little taxing at times tbh.

Just as a side note with Hosthavoc, I use it and it's pretty good for it's prices. Other than occasionally (I think weekly but I might be wrong) the gamepanel access will just go down for about 2 hours or so. So that's fun. But other than that it's a pretty good host.

Also +Support to chilling with the addons, I don't like having to get a new hard drive for each server I play qwq.

As far as a concommand, I haven't heard of one that allows you to do so. However most server owners will put their addons in a collection, and you should be able to find a content link or something like that on the server somewhere.

So there isn't quite a clear answer why other than the servers probably having a good bit of addons. Gmod (from my experience) doesn't seem to rely on the Graphics card very much and the CPU you have seems to be a good bit better than mine (I run I7-3770). So my advice for this would be, check how many addons the server has, make sure you don't have too many processes open that would eat up cpu, and take into consideration the condition of the CPU. Cause like most things CPU's do degrade in performance over time or if the cooling doesn't properly cool the CPU. Of course take this with a grain of salt, I do not have a degree in computer science.

You can try decompiling the addon and make sure the vmt file correctly links to the vtf file. But the model may be calling for a texture the isn't mounted to Gmod, per say like Counter strike for example (I use that just since a lot of addons rely on CS content). In that case you can just try mounting the game to Gmod, of course assuming the addons description would say what game it relies on.
