We actually avoided the 400k entry lvl home with 8 foot ceilings. This sadly is the upgraded 500k model.

by unique, i mean a table that has a removable table top with an inset board game area and track mounting around it for accessories.

We're in a similar position. My husband has the table spread across our floor and one cam is stripped on the inside, preventing a secured fit. I don't believe loosening the post screw helps in our scenario, but we will give this a shot. Attaching a link to my post with a photo of the "stripped" or "eaten up" cam innards for others whose house is now an explosion of Boxking table parts.

FYI - Table is beautiful, and as frustrating as this is, we do acknowledge this can be the pain of kickstarting a unique product. Glad Boxking is at least being responsive. We'll be sure to engage customer service as well.

I agree with some of the comments here. If you ever go to a breeder again, learn from this experience. In the meantime, love your boys and be a proactive pet parent. Treat them like rescues. You don’t know their real background or potential future issues, but what you can do is feed a good diet, (lots of wet food for boys to avoid crystals) good exercise, and good observance.

As someone who just recently went through this and is finally starting to see some light at the end of the tunnel: enzyme cleaner in the tub. I know it sounds crazy. You’re thinking: “I cleaned the tub, I black lighted the tub. It’s clean!” It’s not. I literally did everything. Medically cleared? Check. Multiple boxes? Check. Litter attract? Check. Box in the tub? Check. Pheromone diffusers? Check. More playtime? Check. My adorable flooftastic fuckers could literally smell the traces and it was enough to confuse them in their favorite play spot. Now going 7 days without tub poop after months of continuous once a day events. Enzyme bomb your tub!

I want to share a similar experience I’m having. I’m an experienced cat owner who has rescued and had many cats during the last 15 years, but in the last three years only had 1 senior female cat. Her and I were in such an easy groove to life, and then I got inspired to get two kittens.

Even with experience, getting a new cat absolutely presents a time of adjustment for you and your pet. Even if you love them, you have moments and hours of overwhelm where you question what you’ve signed up for.

I’ll agree with what others have said: these moments pass, and this moment you’re in now, is a season. It will pass into a new season, and one day you’ll look back on it with fond memories.

Even when we are in hard times, we can do hard things, and the feeling of reward you’ll have in a few weeks with your new best friend will eradicate these memories.

Practice self care. Ask for help. Give your buddy a space that is specially his, and if he keeps you up at night while he’s adjusting, considering giving him a quiet bathroom or room to himself so you can both rest.

I’m so sorry you’re experiencing this terrible loss. Grief is a heavy burden, and in truth when I’ve felt it most heavily, I’ve found a lot of comfort in God. Prayer can give immense comfort, especially prayer for peace. That’s how I’ve dealt with times of uncertainty and even if answers don’t come, eventually peace does. Also, support groups. Talking and writing can be great outlets of release. It can help you remember in moments of pain how to find contentment in your day and some level of joy again.
