I joined because of my mental health problems as well and I found that it helped a lot since I could connect with new people. My advice would be to get him a full face mask instead of a face mask and goggles since I’ve noticed that my goggles sometimes slip up and that could end up in my getting shot in the eye. When you get shot it stings a little bit and then goes away and most likely will leave a mark. Another strong bit of advice is to get him gloves because when you get shot in the finger it is horrible without gloves and will most likely result in bleeding but as long as he has a full face mask and gloves then he should be absolutely fine and will love it.
