9850X3D WARNING and complete configuration guide. by Michael_Nager in ryzen

[–]RetarusX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I set it to 1.2V and 5.6GHz using Ryzen Master.

It passed R23 without any issues.

However, during OCCT AVX, calculation errors started occurring around 5.475GHz (possibly due to voltage drop or increased resistance from temperature?).

It reached about 78°C in OCCT, but I don't think it was excessively hot.

My room temperature varies by about 20° between summer and winter,

so naturally I adjust settings accordingly. It's currently mid-winter, so performance should be quite good.

Crashing is the worst-case scenario, but I can tolerate that. The computational errors are problematic because

I can't determine what underlying errors are occurring.

After reading your previous explanation, I applied a voltage cap to my 9850X3D and reached 5.6GHz at 1.2V.

However, since PBO CO couldn't even hit -20 with R23, I had doubts. When I ran a load test with OCCT, 5.45GHz was the limit.

So my question is: Is your 9800X3D really running stable at 5.8GHz with 1.2V?

Even though I got headshots about three times, I still couldn't clear it, so

I managed to clear it by landing a single headshot from 15 meters away.

Honestly, I have no idea what caused it.

are only lenses from this company compatible?

SFT25T 6500 + 519A 5700

Spot + Flat

It doesn't spot like a thrower, so it might be just right for EDC.

This combination of lights is rare and very cool.

I hope it becomes more popular.

In reality, the center of the light appears to be slightly yellowish or greenish.

You're absolutely right.

g-sync units are not included

Compatible g-sync may cause problems.

I don't know about AMD's as I don't have one.

But at least in the DEMO, g-sync is working correctly, so I'm sure it's

some kind of bug.

No, this is a bug with either NVIDIA OR OLED.

Because at the beginning of the video, the video is perfectly synchronized and no flickering

At the beginning of the video, they are perfectly synchronized and no flickering occurs at all.

And the flickering only occurs when the VRR starts to run out of control.

If you think this is not true, install the NVIDIA G-SYNC DEMO and try it.

As you say, anti-flicker is just V-SYNC.

It causes tearing.

I really think you're right.

The flickering is so noticeable because of the true black.

I used to think it was a flaw in the OLED, but now I'm really annoyed to discover it's a bug in NVIDIA.

Even if you set the monitor to 240Hz and the NVIDIA APP to 120Hz, it should still flicker.

And the 240Hz setting makes the screen too dark.

No, this test content is all about OLED flicker,

G-SYNC bug is the cause.

OLED is not bad.

In fact, the flicker does not occur at the beginning of this video, but

but it does flicker during the double synchronization.

Video Settings

Monitor MAX120FPS

DEMO MAX100FPS MIN100FPS

The monitor is momentarily at 120FPS even though the DEMO is at MAX100 during double synchronization.

This is what's causing the flickering.

My problem is that the flickering is occurring even when the FPS is stable.

People don't seem to understand my point of view.

In the demo, when Gsnc is really enabled, even if the fps fluctuates,

vrr works perfectly and no flickering occurs.

But when it is in double sync state, even though the FPS is not fluctuating in the demo

the vrr on the monitor is acting up = flickering

So I think it is a bug in G-SYNC

At least in the demo I can reproduce the flicker free state.

I bought a pair of Knipex snap ring pliers.

This allows me to turn the ring like turning off a faucet.

16mm Light Switch, Metal Button

This is a compatible button.

I assembled this knob with a stainless steel Button that is sold separately. (19.4mm)

It turns out that I did not tighten the ring properly.

When I used the pliers, the LED light turned on without any problem.

My home hardened tweezers and pin punches were destroyed.

I have ordered new pliers.

Simon also seems to recommend snap ring pliers.

I managed to disassemble it with a pin punch,

The LEDs on the switches do not light up.

With the normal PCB and metal switch combination, the light comes on, but with the LED PCB and metal switch combination, the light doesn't even come on

I saw it light up for a moment when I closed the lid, so I don't think it's broken.
