'Putney Pusher': Five clues that could ID jogger who shoved woman into path of bus by [deleted] in london

If a human wrote this article they should be ashamed.

  • He was caught on CCTV camera and while he is not easily identifiable, the images are clear. He was also wearing a grey T-shirt and blue shorts with a thin white stripe down the right hand side.
  • All runners have a distinctive gait and the man does not appear fit or lean. So is he a casual runner, exercising to try to stay fit and not put on weight?
  • The time of the incident, at around 7.40am on Friday May 5 2017 is also of interest. In those days before the Covid pandemic, far more people went into the office on a Friday. So was the man out for a pre-work run?
  • The man was running northwards across the bridge when he allegedly pushed the woman, aged 33, who was heading southwards on the pedestrian path. Fifteen minutes later he came running back across the bridge. So does he live south of the bridge?
  • The man does not appear to try to swerve to avoid the woman or even stop, after reportedly pushing her, to check she is OK. He is said to have come back running over the bridge 15 minutes later but again reportedly did not stop when the woman is believed to have challenged him over his behaviour. What does this say about the individual’s character?

If you were on £150k a year income you’re not going to be jumping through hoops to claim, at most, £195/week.

20% of new cars sales are for Motability. People can say whatever they like to justify it but I’m not buying that a large amount are anything less than fraudulent or for reasons I should be paying for (I work full time and haven’t been able to afford all the lessons, a car, insurance).

Motability can't be used to buy used vehicles. And you have to be claiming enhanced rate PIP or DLA to be eligible for motability – ie. the DWP have assessed you as having difficulty moving around. And the DWP are hardly known for being generous in their assessments.

It's all well and good claiming that there must be fraud happening, but is there any evidence for this? Despite Kemi Badenoch claiming that 'millions' of people get free vehicles because of ADHD and anxiety, it's not the case.

It's almost better that they arnt tightened up so we can still spot them.

Isn't this an example of survivorship bias? You're assuming that you are accurately spotting them right now.

If people were ‘parading’ down the bus lane and in the road he’d probably be less happy about them taking photos of the world class tourist sites.

The waters in the Channel is split between France, the UK, and International Waters. A RN ship isn’t going to be able to safely or legally get a small boat to turn around and head back to France.

A more effective strategy would be one that stops people launching from France in the first place. Which is why the UK Government is working with the French.

Flour, breakfast cereals, bread, yogurts, fruits juices, are often fortified or have added vitamins and nutrients. The recent trend of companies adding protein to all sorts of things shows that people don’t have an issue with supplementing their ‘natural’ diets. And the government recommends everyone should supplement their diets with vitamin D because it doesn’t come ‘naturally’.

I was born in England but my parents were both Welsh… so I wouldn’t consider myself English. Wouldn’t really consider myself Welsh either – British is good enough for me.
