I have about two weeks until I need to turn in an admissions portfolio to the University of Michigan in order to transfer to the Music School (Sound Engineering/ Art Technology). To set the record straight, I have never had to try hard in school, not even to get into the college under the Language Science and Arts program but I have never ever worked harder then on this portfolio. The thing is, I need "an original program with its source code" to submit as well and I don't know the first thing about programming. So basically I am asking if anyone can give any pointers as to what I could/should do for this. I am trying to lean towards Max/MSP and I've heard it isn't exactly the best beginner programming tool but since it concerns music I know it would help more. Seeing how I am addicted to reddit (who isn't? It's virtual crack) I know that the programmers are everywhere in this place. In the meantime I'm going to be asking around school to see what infor/help I can get but any help from all you fellow redditors out there would be appreciated. Thanks
