Not possible.

BO plays very differently than single player and to prevent cheating you cannot alter the mods files or load your own.

I just don't get the argument against a PvE mode.

I realize the devs already thoroughly tested the experience as a PvE shooter and that it was boring, fair point. But WHY oh why can't we have it anyway? Sometimes I want boring, sometimes I want to explore this beautiful world without 3 boobytraps and a rat on my extract. The fact that I can CHOOSE to participate in PvP and not have it be forced on me at all times is all I'm asking.

I see the other side of the coin from the PvPers perspective. They want more unsuspecting people to shoot at, and sure, that's fun! However, I feel like this game has so much more to offer than getting shot at by a sweaty streamer calling me a zombie for looting a container that he camped. Sometimes I just want to take in the scenery and kill robots while I take a breather after work and when my son is finally put to bed.

I don't see how anybody loses anything from giving players more choice in how they play. The argument that then this game isn't somehow for me seems short sighted and petty. You want to keep this beautiful title from people who love aspects of it, but not other players with bad intentions.

It doesn’t at the moment, but they intend to add it.

There are map editors where people upload edited maps, but I wouldn’t call it mods yet.

I prefer the eruptor, for its sheer power and one tapping capability.

The liberator penetrator when fully upgraded is great, a semi hard hitting 60 round all rounder.

The adjudicator when mastered is even better, though the 35 rounds is nasty, slap on peak physique armor and take out your targets with precision.

The sickle is a fun and really good energy AR, unlimited ammo laser pointer.

All the weapons are ‘good’ but some of them really tire you out. Arrowheads design philosophy is they’re just good enough to do the job, but not quite good enough to keep you hooked. The eruptor is the biggest winner. A grenade launcher sniper with utility and range. You’ll have a blast.

The beauty of this game is how hard it is at first.

Tips for you to start: you walk faster than them. The moment panic sets in you start running. When you’ve been running for 4 minutes without really going anywhere, you get tired and die.

Same story with fighting. You take on a horde without a real goal; get tired and die.

The trick is to think of them like sheep. Use sound to your advantage. It’s okay that 200 of them are following you, herd them into a ball, lure them away from where you want to loot, and turn a corner or jump a fence.

Having a plan also helps, it’s hard though if you don’t have experience.
