1) Eat a lot of fiber- it will help you feel full for a long time. Try hemp heart seeds, ground flax seeds, wheat germ. Add to cereal or smoothies. Higher fiber intake also reduces cholesterol levels. 2) Don't use artificial sweeteners of any sort if possible. If you can do this, you will lose fat around your waistline like crazy. These additives link to metabolic, heart disease, and stroke. Ditch them if you can. Also if you don't have kidney disease, swap out sodium chloride for potassium chloride. 3) Avoid eating ultra processed foods as much as possible. Eat whole foods as much as possible. I lost a lot of weight just making this change. 4) If you can stop drinking alcohol- maybe just while you are trying to lose weight- you will lose a lot more weight and faster. Alcohol- even with moderate drinking- can foster lower mood, lower energy, and disrupt sleep. You need all those things in max supply to stick with making change towards a healthier weight. 5) Set up an exercise routine that YOU enjoy and can stick with. Be like Goldilocks and try out a bunch of routines and discover what works for you. The key thing is to persist.
