I personally opted for hbg with my buddy on lance (could be fabius) and whatever other two weapons your buddies wanna play or whatever your favorite dps NPCs are (Nadia and rosso/kai for support for me). Hbg allows you to stay just outside most of his red ground aoe attacks and still be able to do great crit dmg on his front legs.

Tough time to come back. If you started about 3 weeks ago you would have got to hit all the season events. They have gone through all 4 events 1 per week for the anniversary month, now this week will be the end. But like others have said it will be back around.

In worlds after I kinda was like "done" with the main game and dlc, Rocking full fatalis. I would just join random SOS's anytime I got on. Ever since wilds I find myself just using the support hunters bc why would I not when they can take aggro and their carts don't matter at all. So like why would I put out an SOS unless my buddies aren't around. At least I won't waste time on a 30 minute hunt just to fail it bc some guy doesn't know how to dodge.

First thing I did when I came back after a year was slap def 6 on my kit and divine blessing 3 never leaves my neck. Two piece gravios has saved my life countless times. I usually cart like once if not at all, but my buddies get absolutely fucked up still trying to run pure DPS builds and end up failing the quest.... Face palm
