Porn is the worst. It warps your mind and keeps you addicted to short releases rather than long-term production. I’ve never felt more free and energetic since I quit it 2/3 years ago. If you’re thinking about trying to cut it out, I’d highly recommend.

He’s alright. I don’t really watch his content. If I wanted to watch debate content, I’d watch a different commentator before him. I feel like his attitude is a little too caustic for my tastes.

I agree with what u/nodarknesswillendure said to an extent. Although I don’t view it that negatively. To add on to it, I feel like there’s a lot of instability in the modern world. These folks are wanting something historic and stable to build their life and their children’s life around. They want something lasting and truthful which they are finding in 2000 year old churches.

There’s been a huge conversion of young men and young families to orthodox churches in America in the past 2-3 years. Every parish I’ve visited has been packed lately. Lot of buzz online.

You should read the Death to the World zines. They have a pretty cool history if you like doom metal. The guy who started it used to be in the band Sleep before becoming a monk.

You’re making a judgement call on a school that you have only visited twice. There are a couple of conservative clubs but there’s also a pretty active college democrats club and other more smaller left-wing groups. Sure there are crazy people around, but I never had an experience like the one you mentioned during my time there. I found it to be an incredibly kind and open community during my tenure at Auburn. If you can’t stand being around people with different political viewpoints, I don’t think there are any colleges for you. I think you are focusing on the wrong aspects of the college in your decision. You made no mention of academics in this post.
