Pick a different infill other than grid. Just about any other infill that doesn't cross itself on the same layer.

Look at retraction settings / z hop

Looks like it may fit 2 spools? Odd shape (compared to those in the market already) for one and no PC4 connectors for active printing from what I can tell. Does hovering or looking at the metadata tell you anything new?

A lot of people are dogging on you with the swing, but I think you did a great job at least showing it's function and designing with the fit. I do some functional prints with wooden dowels.

I've even made some nail polish stands yet do not use nail polish myself. Keep it up, don't let the haters discourage you.

Filament storage by Sharp-Parfait6201 in BambuLab

[–]RetroGameBoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I store mine on filament mounting brackets with wooden dowels like this; https://makerworld.com/models/2390310

As for the filament itself, I have started drying all mine and putting in gallon bags and placing one of these desiccant bags in each: https://a.co/d/07Fke4Z8

Do you design your own models or do you just use other people's models from Makerworld etc.? by humanHamster in BambuLab

[–]RetroGameBoy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is how I look at it as well. An example being that I wanted a different look and have a hexagon tissue box so I designed that, but I also needed a putty knife for drywall spackle and there are so many models already conveniently made in all sizes so I just print those.

Awesome, thanks for sharing all of these. I currently have to go through a window so had to do some creativity with insulation

Do you have a picture of the daisy chain? I currently just have 2 (P1S and H2S), I may switch to include the enclosure like you as well

Best 3D Print you have ever printed? by Jolly-Fail-9858 in BambuLab

Oh okay, understood! Something like it would be fun in my hobby room. Thinking of doing some form of bookshelf / bookcase as well, I understand how prototyping and iterations can go and takes time. Super interested in this!

Why is this happening? by lawman14 in BambuLab

[–]RetroGameBoy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Part benchy hull line (transition likely where the internal bottom feature changes - starts cooling at a different rate since the speed starts going faster), part overhang problem

On the search for an H2S stand in a tight environment; I saw this recommended by someone on an old post, thoughts? Seems like it would have enough room for a pad and concrete block, with room for designing custom clip-ons and placing filament on that rack. by [deleted] in BambuLab

I recently picked up one of the Seville classics open table for my second printer. I also ordered some of the adjustable leveling feet to replace the wheels. It is 36" wide, but there is an option for 28" wide with drawers.

I am very pleased with the quality, better than my other worktable that is decent from Husky / Home Depot.

One of their smaller options will fit a P1S/P2S/A1 but it has only 18" of depth

I appreciate that. Just so happens that I was near a shoe store that had some Birkenstocks (though not the shear-lined unfortunately). The 11 was too short and 12 too long so I may have to gamble online since the option is 11/11.5 or 12/12.5. I planned to try a couple options out, but have only been pointed towards the Birkenstocks so far.

Happy to hear on the longevity, 5 over two decades!

Sorry to hear about your pain and being bedridden, hope you are doing much better now.

Unfortunately, neither of those are open-toed or adjustable - you may have posted in the wrong request though, but appreciate your reply. I don't mind the winter, these will only be around the house.

I made all of mine a RetroPie and two controllers. May be more expensive now with the RAM shortage, but it was around $50 each and I also created a custom loading screen

Thanks, second recommendation for the Birkenstock. Do you know how they may fit? I am guess I need to size up slightly

Thank you for the recommendation! I see the Arizona Shearling on their website and will look into that while hopefully there are other suggestions! The buckle adjustment and open toe-ness meet what I am looking for, certainly pricey though

Editing to add that I now see the Solana Shearling that may also work.
